New details have emerged about the sober living facility where Cindy Crawford’s son, Presley Gerber, died last month, raising further questions about the circumstances surrounding the 27-year-old model’s tragic death. According to a new report, police had responded to a separate suspected overdose emergency at the same Santa Monica facility just seven months earlier. The revelation comes as authorities continue investigating Presley’s death, with his official cause of death still undetermined.

The sober living facility where Presley spent his final hours had reportedly experienced another overdose-related emergency months before his death. According to TMZ, Santa Monica Police Department records show that officers responded to Resolutions Living on February 18, 2026, after someone at the facility expressed concern that a patient had suffered an overdose. A source connected to the facility, who reportedly had direct knowledge of the incident, claimed that the patient was a woman who had been found unresponsive.

The woman was eventually revived, although the source alleged that it took at least five doses of Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, to bring her back to consciousness. By the time police arrived, the woman reportedly no longer required transportation for further medical treatment. Officers spoke with her before leaving the property. The incident occurred approximately seven months before Presley was found unresponsive at the same facility on September 20. The February emergency involved another resident, months before Presley’s death.

Presley died on September 20, 2026, at the age of 27, less than a day after entering Resolutions Living in Santa Monica, California. According to an earlier reporting by TMZ, he arrived at the sober living facility on Saturday evening, September 19. Emergency responders were called the following morning after Presley was discovered unresponsive.

Santa Monica police reportedly received a call at approximately 9:35 a.m., and first responders attempted life-saving measures. Despite their efforts, Presley was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m. Authorities began investigating the death as a suspected overdose, although investigators have not announced a definitive cause.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has also not publicly confirmed what caused Presley’s death. The latest revelation about the February emergency adds another detail to the facility’s history, but it does not establish that the two incidents occurred under similar circumstances.

Questions had already emerged about the circumstances surrounding Presley’s admission to Resolutions Living before the latest police records came to light. In a September 28 report, TMZ cited multiple sources who claimed that someone from Presley’s sober support team contacted the facility before bringing him there. The caller allegedly informed staff that Presley was under the influence of drugs and asked whether he could still be admitted. According to the report, staff agreed to accept him.

Sources also claimed that Presley appeared impaired after arriving at the property. The outlet subsequently obtained footage reportedly filmed by Presley inside the facility on the night before his death. The outlet also reported that the facility’s admissions officer was fired following Presley’s death, citing sources connected to Resolutions Living. However, investigators have not established these allegations as findings of wrongdoing.

When TMZ approached Resolutions Living owner Dr. Reza Nabavi about the decision to admit Presley, he declined to answer the outlet’s questions. The latest report said the outlet had again contacted Nabavi for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.

The circumstances surrounding Presley’s death have also drawn attention to the rules governing sober living facilities in California. A Los Angeles Times investigation published in September examined Resolutions Living and the broader regulatory environment for recovery residences. The newspaper reported that the Santa Monica sober living home was not subject to the same state oversight as licensed treatment facilities.

Although the property’s owners operate a separate licensed treatment business, the residence itself falls into a different regulatory category. The distinction has raised wider concerns about how sober living homes operate, particularly when residents may need medical supervision or treatment beyond the services such facilities provide.

The publication also reported that investigators were examining how Presley obtained any drugs or medications that might have contributed to his death. Police have not publicly identified a suspect or announced evidence of foul play. While the newly reported February emergency may invite additional scrutiny of the facility’s history, it does not, by itself, establish negligence or responsibility for Presley’s death.

Cindy Crawford And Family Continue Mourning Presley Gerber As Investigation Remains Open

The latest development comes just days after Crawford and her family publicly addressed their devastating loss. On October 18, the supermodel shared an emotional tribute to Presley, nearly a month after his death. In a message from Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter Kaia Gerber, the family remembered Presley as a deeply loved son and brother.

“We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years,” she wrote on Instagram.

She also described him as a “sweet, beautiful soul” while expressing their heartbreak over his passing.

Kaia separately paid tribute to her older brother, sharing personal memories and photographs of their childhood together. Presley, who followed his mother and sister into modeling, had previously spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health and substance use.

As his family continues grieving, questions remain about what happened during his final hours at Resolutions Living. The February overdose-related police response represents a newly reported detail about the facility, but authorities have not established a connection between that emergency and Presley’s death. His official cause of death remains under investigation.
