Frank Sinatra’s Daughter Comments On AI Ad With Snoop Dogg

The advertisement, which debuted on Tuesday, December 10, features Dre and Snoop alongside AI-generated versions of Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.

Tina Sinatra shared with PEOPLE that watching an artificial intelligence recreation of her father interact with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg in the time-bending Still G.I.N. commercial was both “thrilling and surreal.”

“To see Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg alongside my dad and Sammy Davis Jr. in such a revolutionary way is both thrilling and surreal,” she told the outlet. “It’s a celebration of timeless artistry, breaking barriers and the enduring legacy of collaboration across generations.”

Still G.I.N., co-owned by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and launched in February, collaborated with their creative agency Rosewood Creative, renowned director Dave Meyers, and generative AI company Metaphysic to produce the ad.

In the new ad, the late musicians are shown chatting in formal attire at an elegant bar when they notice Dre and Snoop walking through the crowded room. Observing the other patrons’ excitement over the two rappers, the “Fly Me to the Moon” singer remarks, “Now, who the hell are these guys?”

Davis Jr. responds, “I heard those are the new gangsters in town.”

Curious, Sinatra requests the bartender to introduce them to the newcomers. After meeting, they decide to share a drink. “So what’s your pleasure? What are you guys drinking?” Davis Jr. asks, to which Snoop and Dre mention their gin brand.

“Okay. Still G.I.N. for everybody!” Sinatra declares, prompting cheers from the crowd.

Frank Sinatra passed away on May 14, 1998, at the age of 82 due to a heart attack. He died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, with his wife, Barbara, by his side. Sinatra had been battling numerous health issues in the years leading up to his death, which contributed to his declining condition.

In addition to the heart problems that ultimately caused his death, Sinatra had a history of cardiovascular issues and had suffered multiple heart attacks in the past. He also dealt with other significant health concerns, including high blood pressure, bladder cancer, and respiratory problems.

Adding to the drama of his arrival, Sinatra was intended to be named after his father, but a mix-up led the priest to name him after his godfather, Frank Garrick. Exhausted from the ordeal, his mother decided to leave the name unchanged.

The forceps used during his delivery left lasting marks, including facial scarring on the left side of his face, jawline, neck, and a cauliflower ear. As a teenager, these scars earned him the nickname “Scarface” from his peers. Throughout his career, Sinatra went to great lengths to conceal these insecurities. He regularly blotted out his scars before performances and avoided being photographed on his left side. His height was another source of self-consciousness, leading him to wear elevated boots to appear taller.

Frank Sinatra was married to Nancy Barbato Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Mia Farrow, and Barbara Marx Sinatra. With his first wife, Nancy, he had three children: Nancy Jr., Tina, and Frank Sinatra Jr. Both Nancy Jr. and Frank Jr. followed in their father’s footsteps, building careers in music.

Legally, Ronan is the son of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen, born in 1987—more than a decade after Sinatra and Mia Farrow divorced.
