Since 2018, Kim Kardashian has been studying to become a lawyer and has been involved in various criminal justice projects.

Her work has since led to the release of several individuals from prison and sparked discussion on some criminal reforms.

Fans now believe that the reality star can proffer some help to Luigi Mangione, the suspected killer of UnitedHealth Care CEO Brian Thompson.

“HEAR ME OUT, KIM KARDASHIAN SHOULD HELP LUIGI MANGIONE,” a fan wrote in all caps, while another commented, “@KimKardashian Free Luigi Mangione for us. Get us that pardon.”

Mangione was caught on Monday at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pa. after the police received a tip from someone who recognized him from the picture they had sent out.

During the arrest, police found a manifesto in which he detailed his motivations and grievances against corporate America.

They also recovered a gun and suppressor similar to those seen in surveillance footage of the crime. The gun was identified as a “ghost gun,” which can be assembled at home and was possibly made with a 3D printer.

Mangione was also found with a fake New Jersey ID, identical to the one the killer had used at a Manhattan hostel, as well as clothing that matched what the suspect had worn on the day of the crime.

Additionally, around $10,000 in cash and a passport bearing his real name were discovered in his possession.

Recent reports have revealed that forensic investigators have made findings that might further incriminate Mangione.

According to the findings, the bullet casings found at the scene of the December 4 killing of Thompson in midtown Manhattan matched that fro the gun recovered from Mangione.

“We were able to match that gun to the three shell casings that we found in midtown at the scene of the homicide,” NYPD commissioner Jessica Tisch said in a statement, per Yahoo.

According to the commissioner, Mangione also seemingly left behind forensic evidence recovered from other items at the scene.

“NYPD investigators were also able to match Mangione’s fingerprints with those found on a water bottle and energy bar recovered from the scene,” Tisch added.

According to reports, Mangione was arraigned in Pennsylvania on multiple charges after his arrest.

The charges include forgery, carrying an unlicensed firearm, providing false identification to law enforcement, tampering with records or identification, and possessing “instruments of crime.”

In New York, where the crime took place, Mangione faces murder charges along with a number of additional offenses.

Authorities in the state are currently arranging Mangione’s extradition, but the process could take weeks as he is actively contesting the transfer.

Where Is Luigi Mangione Being Held?

In the meantime, Mangione is being held at a Pennsylvania state prison after being denied bail on Tuesday.

He is being represented by defense attorney Tom Dickey, who has since revealed that Mangione would be pleading not guilty to any of the charges filed against him by the authorities in Pennsylvania.

He also suggested that the 26-year-old would likely enter the same not-guilty plea to the murder charges in New York and hinted that he might represent him in that case as well.
