In a year where political discourse reached new heights of absurdity, and the truth often felt like a rarer commodity than gold, the corporate media’s role in distorting public perception became glaringly evident.

Nowhere is this more obvious than with the release of media watchdog Grabien’s top ten moments in 2024, where legacy journalists dropped all pretense of impartiality and clearly sided with Team Democrat.

The video serves as a stark reminder of how far the media has strayed from its foundational duty to inform rather than manipulate.

From the famous “cheap fakes” spin on President Joe Biden’s repeated instances of cognitive decline, to a brazen cover-up of that decline, to misinformation regarding President Trump and his allies, 2024 stands as the year that a decades-long level of bias in the media finally was outed … and soundly defeated.

Take a look at media malpractice this past year.

While the media wants you to think that President-elect Donald Trump is a habitual liar, it’s the members of the cult of journalism who are actually the purveyors of misinformation.

Politifact labeled Trump’s and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance’s comments about Haitian migrants as their ‘Lie of the Year,’ but we all know what the true lie of the year was.

The institution-wide cover-up that Biden was not, and could not, run the country due to his obvious cognitive decline.

The media spent months spreading a Pravda-level propaganda effort telling the public that video evidence they were seeing time and again of Biden bumbling and stumbling his way through public appearances, unable to formulate thoughts, and looking like a dementia patient wandering the streets lost, were actually manipulated videos.

    “Cheap fakes,” they called them.

“One of the saddest parts of carrying water for the DNC is how the corporate media, by extension, also found itself having to carry water for Joe Biden,” Grabien reports. “In July, someone at the White House had the bright idea of labeling viral clips of Biden’s dementia as ‘cheap fakes.’”

“Being cheap fakes themselves, the thought manipulators at CNN/MSNBC/etc. all dutifully began employing this term themselves.”

They Should Never Be Taken Seriously Again

The ‘cheap fake’ phase backfired spectacularly, mostly because it was a narrative developed just prior to the famous presidential debate in which Biden’s decline could no longer remain hidden.

You know, the one where Biden went on a meandering monologue about God knows what and ended his thoughts with, “We finally beat Medicare.”

Trump would later quip, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence, and I don’t think he knows what he said either.”

Biden: “Making sure we make every single solitary person eligible for what I’ve been able to do with covid, excuse me, with umm dealing with everything we had to deal with. Look, we finally beat medicare.”

Trump: “Well he’s right. He did beat medicaid. Beat it to death.” pic.twitter.com/FL152ERLiR

“One of the problems of being a professional liar in the age of the internet is that it makes your job especially challenging,” Grabien writes. “For four years, Biden’s White House caretakers were always careful to orchestrate his appearances so he had no opportunity for spontaneous, on-camera thinking.”

“Despite so much careful handling, ultimately it’s impossible to script a dementia patient, and Biden provided his critics with countless clips of humiliating senility.”

Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal released a bombshell article that finally shattered the facade, revealing the extent to which the Biden White House has been deceiving the public for four years (even before his official inauguration) by attempting to conceal the President’s evident cognitive and physical decline from the public eye.

It didn’t work. Biden was forced out of the race because no amount of lying by the media was going to prevent people from understanding what they were witnessing with their own eyes and ears.

There are obviously further examples of the media failing to do their supposed job in 2024, but the most egregious by far was the colossal cover-up that, for four years, America had no leader.
