When word got out that TikTok would go dark at 5:30 p.m. PT, the marathon scrolling began.

While it was about soaking it all in, seeing how others are feeling, and making sure we were there for the end, it was bittersweet and a bit stressful. We wanted to share how the vibe was during that last hour before TikTok went dark on Saturday night.

Since we had no idea that TikTok would come back to us on Sunday morning, my Editor-in-Chief, Heather Edwards, and I took that final hour on TikTok to collect some interesting videos to share with our readers today. And even though the app is back up and running, we thought we would share the final hour of TikTok with you as we experienced it.
