    Kim Kardashian Slams Kris Jenner For Promoting SKIMS Rival

    Kim Kardashian jokingly called out her famous mother, Kris Jenner, in the comment section of an Instagram post after the “momager” of six promoted a rival company of her daughter’s brand, SKIMS.

    On social media, Kim Kardashian had strong words for the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch for drawing attention to another brand after announcing the upcoming launch of her new collaboration, NikeSKIMS.

    Kim Kardashian Is Launching A New Skims Collab With Nike

    On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Kardashian and Nike announced the launch of their new athleisure line, NikeSKIMS.

    According to the official post, the line of clothing items will hit retailers this spring and is designed for “the body obsessed.”

    Kardashian first launched SKIMS, the American shapewear and clothing brand, in September 2019. Since then, the reality star has built a highly profitable business that caters to all kinds of consumers. In addition to the variety of sizes, ranging from XXS to 5XL, Kardashian’s brand also comes in nine different shades to accommodate different skin tones.

    Since debuting, Kardashian and SKIMS have teamed up with different companies and celebrities to stay fresh, including The North Face and NBA star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Consequently, TIME named the business one of the most influential companies of 2022.

    Regarding her new collaboration with Nike, Kardashian said that she and the sneaker company “share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women.”

    “This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product[s] that [are] meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for everybody. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered,” she said.

    Kim Kardashian Jokingly Calls Out Her Mother For Promoting Rival Company

    On the day of Kardashian’s NikeSKIMS reveal, the reality star’s mother, Jenner, shared a promotional advertisement on her Instagram page that might’ve caused some commotion in the family group chat.

    In the picture, the 69-year-old was sitting on a grand staircase in a matching Alo tracksuit, sporting her signature black hairdo.

    Alo Yoga is another premium American athletic apparel company specializing in luxury activewear and wellness-inspired products.

    “Cozy days in my Alo,” Jenner captioned the post.

    After Kardashian noticed the photo, she commented and jokingly blasted her mother for driving attention away from her business.

    “Did you really have to post this one the same day as my NikeSKIMS announcement?” Kardashian asked.

    Fans Tell Kim Kardashian That Jenner Also Has To Work

    Fans reacted to the cheeky moment between the famous mother-and-daughter duo in the comment section of the popular Instagram account CommentsbyCelebs.

    One user laughed with Kardashian, saying the Hollywood icon “will never miss.”

    Another user said their brief interaction gave “classic Kardashians” before saying how much they missed their banter on TV.

    A third fan also chimed in, pointing out that Jenner works to earn a living too.

    “A check is a check, Kimberly,” they commented, to which someone replied, “For real! She should know by now.”

    SKIMS Is Booked And Busy

    Nike isn’t the only powerhouse brand to which Kardashian has been able to attach her SKIMS clothing line.

    In October 2023, the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced its collaboration with SKIMS, naming them the league’s “official underwear partner.”

    High-profile athletes, including soccer legend Neymar and NBA baller Gilgeous-Alexander, promoted the company in a star-studded campaign, saying, “Everybody’s wearing SKIMS.”

    WNBA sensation Cameron Brink also teamed up with Kardashian and SKIMS to promote the company’s inclusive activewear. In a statement, she called the brand a “staple” in her wardrobe before sharing how “grateful” she was to work for a brand she admired so much.

    “I’m proud to launch this new WNBA campaign starring such an incredible cast of athletes. Championing women and women in sports is incredibly important to SKIMS,” Kardashian said about the advertisement.

    Kardashian Is Ready To Start Dating Again

    After her divorce from Kanye West, Kardashian stayed off of the market for a while, focusing on her business and growing children.

    According to inside sources, though, the reality star is ready to start dating again.

    However, Kardashian wants to ensure her next partner lives a different life from her.

    “She’s said the next person she dates will be someone who isn’t famous,” the source explained.
