Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is much closer to his final NFL start than his first – but as he and the organization negotiate a potential contract extension, head coach Sean McVay said he wants Stafford back.
“There’s no discrepancy on us wanting him to continue to lead the way and be our quarterback,” McVay said on the ‘Fitz & Whit’ podcast.
“There is no dispute. Now, there’s layers to it. You have to be able to say ‘Hey, how do we continuously build?’”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stafford turned 37 on February 7, but led the Rams to the NFC Divisional Round despite a rotating cast of receivers in 2024. Whether with the Rams or another QB-needy team in 2025, don’t expect the Super Bowl LVI champion to hang up his cleats just yet.
