Kourtney Kardashian Slams ‘Fake’ Rumors About Son Mason

Unlike most of the other Kardashian grandkids, Mason prefers a private life and has not appeared on his family’s reality TV shows for many years.

However, in February, rumors that he had fathered a child circulated on Reddit, leaving his mom no other option than to respond to them.

Recently, rumors went wild that Kourtney’s eldest son, Mason, had a baby after a social media account claiming to be his secret Instagram shared pictures of a baby girl.

In the follow-up posts, the account claimed the baby girl was Mason’s daughter named Piper. The posts from the secret Instagram accounts, “masonddsh” and “masonsecrety,” were reposted on Reddit along with claims that Mason had a daughter.

Per the Daily Mail, a follower asked, “Did you have a baby?” The Instagram page replied, “Yea, I did.”

Another follower asked, “They didn’t kick you out when you had Piper,” to which the account responded, “Piper doesn’t count. I was forced to do that so it’s not my fault she was created.”

Another person asked, “Who is Piper?” The account replied, “failed protection.”

In another post, the Instagram account claimed they “see Piper sometimes.” They also replied, “for real I know the older she gets the more she looks like me” after a follower commented, “She honestly looks so much like you when you were a baby.”

Kourtney hardly responds to social media drama but was forced to speak out as the rumors about her son began to go viral.

On Sunday, the mother of four took to her Instagram Stories to slam the fake social media pages making up stories about Mason.

“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family,” Kourtney began. “But this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not.”

The reality television star emphasized, “Mason does not have a child. These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.”

She also wrote, “My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.”

Kourtney concluded, “And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”

This is not the first time Kourtney has addressed rumors about Mason.

In July 2022, she addressed the fake accounts, spreading stories about him after some netizens began to believe them.

Kourtney wrote in an X post, “Hello everyone, hope it is a beautiful Thursday. After months of thinking you would all know that is NOT Mason on these fake accounts, some you don’t.”

She added, “So I will spell it out clearly: that is NOT Mason on these fake social media accounts talking about our family.”

Kourtney Kardashian’s oldest child, who turned 15 in December, enjoys a private life as he is rarely seen on his family’s social media shows.

As Mason aged, he withdrew from the spotlight and hasn’t appeared on “The Kardashians,” or “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” for many years.

He also didn’t appear on the Kardashians’ Hulu wedding special featuring Kourtney and Travis Barker’s nuptials.

The teenager attended the wedding but wasn’t featured in any footage from the televised version.

Kourtney shares Mason, daughter Penelope, 12, and son Reign, 10, with her ex, Scott Disick. She also shares a son, Rocky, who she welcomed in November 2023, with Travis Barker.

The proud mom spoke about Mason’s preference for a private life during an appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.

She said, “He doesn’t want any part of it. He’s not on social media. He doesn’t love it and I want my kids to be kids. I crave normalcy as much as we can have it.”

Mason officially joined social media in May 2024. He has 874k followers on his Instagram but only follows eight people. So far, has only made five posts on the page.
