Former “Big Brother” star Derek Frazier recently slammed CBS in a social media post on X, formerly Twitter, for seemingly refusing to cast him in another show on the network.

The reality star first appeared in Big Brother 23 and was known for his role in the “Cookout” alliance. Frazier finished the competition in second place in 2021, but viewers haven’t seen much of him on television since then.

On March 17, 2025, Derek Frazier shared an update about his absence and made it clear that his time away from TV hasn’t been by choice.

Derek Frazier Slams CBS Network In New Tweet

In a post shared on X, Frazier, 33, blasted CBS for seemingly refusing to cast him in any other show since his appearance on their hit summer competition series “Big Brother.”

“CBS, thank you,” he began. “Since ‘Big Brother 23,’ five out of six members of ‘The Cookout’ have competed on CBS competition shows.”

Frazier continued, “I appreciate you making it clear how you feel about me. Trust me, it doesn’t feel good. I definitely feel left out.”

Other members of the “Cookout” alliance, including Xavier Prather, Azah Awasum, Hannah Chaddha, Kyland Young, and Tiffany Mitchell, have appeared on shows like “The Challenge: USA” and “The Anonymous.”

Chaddha, on the other hand, has reportedly been cast in the upcoming season of “The Amazing Race.”

    Derek Frazier Lost 71 Pounds

In late December 2024, Frazier uploaded a video to TikTok showing he had lost over 70 pounds throughout the year.

“Call it a comeback. To everyone who said ‘no,’ ‘too fat,’ or ‘you’ll never be picked again’ — thanks for the fuel,” Frazier captioned the post, as per Us Weekly. “That’s a total of 71 pounds lost in just 10 months. And trust me, I’m just getting started.”

In January 2025, the reality star, who’s the son of famous boxer Joe Frazier, displayed further progress when he shared a photo of him flexing his biceps in a picture on Instagram.

“Flexing,” he captioned the flick. “Muscle marinates best under premium meat.”

Loyal “Big Brother” viewers immediately responded to Frazier’s post online and shared negative feelings about the reality star’s statements.

“At some point, you gotta think there’s a reason why you aren’t being called, right?” a user asked him. “You were the most boring of all of the cookout members.”

Other users slammed him for taking the spotlight off of his co-stars and trying to place it on himself. “Try [not] to play victim,” they wrote.

Another user told Frazier candidly that he wasn’t “likable on your season;” therefore, “there is really no desire to cast you on another show.”

    “What’s not clicking?” they finished.

Former ‘Big Brother’ Winner Reveals He Blew His $500,000 Check

Another “Big Brother” alum who has recently made headlines is Jackson Michie, the winner of the show’s 18th season.

The 29-year-old appeared on Julie Chen Moonves‘ podcast, “God101,” and revealed that after winning the season, he blew through his $500,000 grand prize.

“At 24, having just won $510,000 and having a little bit of popularity in Los Angeles — it was a dangerous combination for me,” he said. “I have, at this point, blown through all of my money, net negative in my checking account,” he continued. “No car, no job, no plan, going back to the city and the place where I ran from with no idea what [lay] ahead.”

Michie Is ‘Disappointed’ In His Behavior

Later, Michie, who dealt with his fair share of scandals on the show, which included being accused of racism by the show’s Black contestants, admitted his life after the season “disappointed” him, considering he was trying hard to keep his head on straight.

“Disappointed and discouraged didn’t even put words to how I felt. Because I realized … I did what the people who didn’t like me on the show told me I would do,” he said. “‘You’re young, you’re dumb, you’re gonna blow through it, you’re gonna do this and that, you’re gonna crash and burn,’ and I did. I crashed and burned, and I hit rock bottom more times than I can count.”
