Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: Address to the “Eurasia and Traditional Values: The Challenge to Globalism” Conference | The Gateway Pundit

Dear Friends,

Allow me first of all to extend my greetings and thanks to all of you for the opportunity to participate in this event. As you know, I had the opportunity to speak at the International Conference of Russophiles on March 14, 2023 and February 28, 2024.

In those circumstances, I reiterated my support and spiritual closeness to the Russian people and to President Putin, highlighting the specious lies that globalist propaganda spreads with impunity in order to legitimize a conflict that should never have started. I can only rejoice at the rapprochement between Trump’s America and Putin’s Russia, at a time when the subversives of the European Union are trying at all costs to sabotage the peace talks and incite against both of them their corrupt puppet, Zelensky.

The International Political Situation

While we are here discussing issues that are particularly close to our hearts, our rulers are planning the rearmament of European countries, justifying it with the alleged threat that the Russian Federation would represent for international peace and security.

Yet we know well that it was not Russia but NATO that did not respect the commitments it made with regard to the non-expansion of bases towards the East, with the complicity of the Anglo-American deep state in the destabilization of Ukraine through regime change sponsored by USAID. The constitution of a common army actually serves to create the conditions for the creation of a European entity that absorbs and annuls national sovereignty, and that is able to force the member states – waiting to engulf them – through the use of military force.

If Hungary or Romania or any other nation not subject to the diktats of Brussels were to create problems for the pursuit of the European Union’s goals, we could in fact see von der Leyen’s army move on Budapest or Bucharest, perhaps with Islamic soldiers enlisted among the hordes of immigrants invading us. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni should think carefully about this and listen to those in the government coalition who retain greater objectivity than some “pro-European” members of her party and Forza Italia.

Let us not forget that the armed forces are institutions that must enjoy democratic legitimacy: placed under the control of a superior entity, they are in fact an instrument of illegitimate coercion of a dictatorship. But this, in a long-term perspective, is exactly what the globalist synarchy concretely aims to do: to create a European nation that in its turn flows into the single government of the New World Order. It remains to be seen whether the United States will allow the creation of a potentially enemy army, which paradoxically would operate within the framework of NATO of which Washington is still a member.

The Real Reasons for Rearmament

As with previous pandemic and environmental emergencies, the official reason given for the feared war emergency serves to hide other purposes: the real objective of the Rearm Europe plan – now renamed Readiness 2030, with significant references to the Agenda of the same name – is to allow Germany and France, as well as Great Britain, to convert the automotive sector destroyed by the crazy policies of NetZero into the production of weapons and tanks.

Stellantis and Luxottica, for their part, are already moving to have the government provide the aid that will allow the same conversion, after having benefited from public funds in 2020 to produce masks for the psychopandemic. And while the taxpayer pays for the disasters of the Agenda 2030, Ursula von der Leyen is preparing to get her hands on the current accounts of private individuals to finance her warmongering delusions with over 800 billion euros, with the encouragement of national leaders, enticed by the prospect of producing armaments at the expense of their citizens and in derogation from the Maastricht parameters.

Of course, seeing the pacifist Left gathered on March 15 in Rome in Piazza del Popolo to support rearmament was surreal, made grotesque by the presence of those who are ready to deny their ideas on command (and for pay). But we cannot forget that Elly Schlein’s Left wants to be the heir of that subversive Manifesto of Ventotene, in which the Freemason and “founding father” of the European Union, Altiero Spinelli, theorized the dictatorship of the proletariat, the uselessness of the democratic process, and the use of a European army to force the masses to obey.

There are those who argue that Zelensky cannot be excluded from the peace negotiations for Ukraine, despite the fact that he is clearly a loser on all fronts and enjoys no legitimacy, having banned presidential elections and banned Ukrainian opposition parties.

In 2023 I wrote:

“Ukraine is acting as a battering ram in NATO’s proxy war against the Russian Federation, so we should first of all stop considering Zelensky as an interlocutor in any peace agreements: if he has counted for nothing in the declaration of war and in the continuation of the military actions conducted so far, I do not see what his role at a peace table should or could be.”

This is what Presidents Putin and Trump recently declared as they prepared to negotiate an end to a disastrous conflict, which could have been avoided if only the Minsk agreement had been enforced. From this point of view, the truce desired by Macron and Starmer, which moreover has already been violated, seems to be aimed – as has already happened previously – simply at buying time to rearm Ukraine and continue the war rather than end it.

General Marco Bertolini recently declared:

“The United Kingdom […], after having repudiated the United Europe by leaving it through a referendum, now wants to put itself at the head of the remaining European countries to take us all to war to achieve its historic goal, that of destroying Russia in order to dismember her into many small vassal states and plunder her immense resources with [Britain’s] classic colonialist spirit. The European elites […] today would like to attack Russia again, bringing war and destruction to Europe once again. The paradox is that all those who have so far waved peace flags and chattered about a “Europe of Peace, Freedom and Democracy” now desire this war at the very moment when the United States and the Russian Federation are finding a peace agreement. They are fakes – more fake than a 1 euro bill. For this reason, I sincerely hope that this horrible European Union – oligarchic, warmongering, authoritarian and against the people – will fail soon, and that truly sovereign states will find forms of collaboration and cooperation, different from the current ones, that will tend towards peace and the social and economic well-being of their citizens.”

Hotbeds of New Conflicts

Yet, just as the possibility of a Third World War in the heart of Europe seems to have been averted, a new front is opening up in the Middle East, where this time the proxy war is being waged by the United States against Yemen (and consequently Iran). We must hope and pray that President Trump does not allow himself to be involved in a new conflict, which plays into the hands of the one who in Israel has been delegitimized by his own citizens.

Another hotbed is found in Syria, after the coup d’état that brought the Islamic terrorist Abu Mohammed al-Jolani to power, ousting the legitimate President Bashshār al-Assad. Vice President J.D. Vance has denounced the persecution and genocide of the Christian and Alawite minority, but in the meantime the European Union announced a few weeks ago that it is sending 5.8 billion euros in aid to support those who massacre our Christian brothers in Syria. Meanwhile in Gaza, for the umpteenth time, the war criminal Netanyahu breaks the ceasefire and continues to exterminate Palestinian civilians, under the guise of wanting to eliminate Hamas terrorists.

The Subversive Action of the Lobbies

In short, we are faced with an extremely complex political situation, in which decisions are almost always taken by people who have no democratic legitimacy and who answer to supranational lobbies. We have seen this here in Italy with Mario Draghi’s speech on March 18, in which he declared that there is a need for “a higher chain of command that coordinates heterogeneous armies and detaches itself from national priorities.”

I wonder if at the time of President Cossiga [1985-1992] this subversive statement would not have earned the “vile businessman” arrest for high treason. In the minds of the Eurocrats, our role [as Italian citizens] must be limited to paying out of our own pockets – and perhaps even with our own lives – for the delusions of power of the Brussels elite. And when we see the allocation of 800 billion euros for rearmament by the European Union is to be accompanied by the activation of digital currency by the European Central Bank (scheduled for this coming October), we understand well that the control of the System over citizens’ money seeks to become total, and it will be impossible for us to rebel against the choices of the globalist tyrants.

I do not think one needs to be an expert in international strategy to understand that this picture is anything but reassuring, because the economic interests of large investment funds – which include the pharmaceutical, banking, and military industries – are the main proponents of globalist ideology, and at the same time they are the first, if not the only beneficiaries.

Pax Christi in Regno Christi

What is clear is that peace is an eventuality that many, too many, interests are determined to absolutely avoid. On the other hand – and here I speak to you as a Bishop – the Pax Christiana has nothing to do with the peace of this world. Our Lord reminded us of this in his splendid discourse to the Apostles at the Last Supper: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you.” Not as the world gives, I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor be afraid (Jn 14:27).

This is because the peace of Christ presupposes a moral and social order that this world does not understand and does not want, as long as it remains unconverted and does not return to Christ. For the peace of Christ depends on recognizing Him as King and Lord of all earthly societies, on understanding that the only holder of authority on earth is Our Lord, and on acknowledging that the power of rulers is legitimate only if it is exercised within the boundaries of the Good that God has established. Because the peace of Christ is exactly the opposite of the hypocritical pacifism of an anti-Christian world enslaved to the Adversary. Pax Christi in regno Christi, the adage goes: but what peace can anyone have, when it has become an act of hate speech to proclaim that Christ is King?

The Attack on Western Society

And here we come to the focal point of our meeting.

The subject of your conference is “Eurasia and Traditional Values: The Challenge to Globalism.” Allow me to point out to you that this is not a “challenge” but rather a war – a war that is unconventional and undeclared, a war without quarter, in which a subversive minority of criminals who have usurped power at all levels intend to subjugate the peoples of the once Christian West, even putting them at war against Islam in order to cynically witness mutual destruction.

We are confronted with a lobby of widely compromised, morally corrupt, intellectually misguided characters who are kept under blackmail for execrable crimes. This lobby, which has infiltrated the highest levels of civil and religious institutions, represents a mortal threat – literally – to the whole of humanity, which it considers at its mercy and which it intends to decimate, and then enslave the survivors.

In recent years we have witnessed the definitive demolition of the principles that constitute the foundations of Christian Civilization, with the complicity of the Bergoglian Church, which is no less corrupt and susceptible to blackmail. And that renunciatory attitude that some of you believed was motivated by tolerance or the desire for harmony between peoples has instead turned out to be culpable complicity with the enemy, courtesan subservience to the globalist plan, and cowardly betrayal of the peoples.

The ethnic replacement and Islamization of our cities through the invasion of illegal immigrants; woke propaganda in favor of the moral perversions of LGBTQ and gender ideology; the pandemic and vaccine farce with the complicity of the mainstream media and the medical class; climate fraud, based on blatantly unfounded theories and absurd alarmism; war as a means to conceal the corruption of the western ruling class; the destruction of the natural family; the systematic impoverishment of the weaker classes and the continuous reduction of trade union and social security protections: all these attacks on our society are not the result of mere contingencies or coincidence, but rather the result of a subversive plan that originates with the globalist elite and mainly with the World Economic Forum, with funding from USAID and other U.S. government agencies during previous administrations.

The cut in funds decided in the United States by the DOGE has brought to light an infernal machine designed to interfere – at the expense of the taxpayer and to his detriment – in the government of nations and subvert the social order: so far we have only seen the tip of the iceberg. We are all convinced that the action of Soros and his “philanthropic” foundations must be stopped and punished, as is already happening in some nations.

The Threat of Woke Globalism

For these reasons, dear friends, I would not speak of “traditional values,” as if it were something old-fashioned that deserves to remain present in our memory as in a museum. Tradition – in its Catholic meaning – consists in keeping the sacred flame of Truth alive and burning, not in preserving its ashes.

If you are here today, as you were in the streets protesting against the green pass and more recently against the warmongering propaganda of the radical Left, it is because you have understood that the threat does not come from outside, nor is it represented by the Russian Federation.

No, the real threat today consists of those who, without any legitimacy, at the highest levels of Nations and the European Union are pursuing the establishment of a global dictatorship. This dictatorship wants to destroy every residue of national sovereignty, identity, culture, religion, and civilization. It must kill all hope, disarm all protest, silence all criticism, criminalize all dissenting voices, and prevent all confrontation: because apart from violence and censorship, it has no argument to legitimize its tyrannical action.

That is why I would not use the term “values” but rather “principles” – because values are subject to change, while principles are based on truth and remain unchangeable over time.

I want to be even clearer, and I hope you will forgive me if I appear a little sharp in my statements. If we believe we can fight the epochal threat of Masonic globalism by continuing to defend “values” such as “the Risorgimento,” “democracy,” or “the Resistance,” we are definitely off track.

What these ideas all have in common is that they come from the revolutionary matrix, which is intrinsically anti-human and antichristic. Modern society has forgotten and indeed trampled down the sovereign rights of God to replace them with the “rights of man”” who makes himself a god; and many continue not to understand that if we do not recognize that earthly authority has a limit given to it by its necessary conformity with the divine authority from which it emanates, we open the way to a totalitarian regime in which power is self-referential and therefore absolute.
