Justin Bieber has sparked worries among individuals who were once in his inner circle amid fears that the singer is not in a good place.

These people fear Bieber has been making “poor decisions” that have affected his friendships and cost him financially.

The recent claim comes after Justin Bieber’s reps released a statement slamming allegations that the singer is in debt and owing millions of dollars.

Bieber has reportedly left people who were once close to him worried about his behavior due to the kind of decisions he has been making.

“He is facing a lot of different demons right now,” the source told the news outlet. “He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business.”

“People are worried about him,” the insider added.

The Singer Allegedly Owes A ‘Large Debt’

For a while now, Bieber has been trailed by rumors that he is facing financial struggles, which have now been intensified after a source alleged that the cancellation of his tour “triggered a series of financial consequences that are still plaguing the artist today.”

This claim was contained in an article by The Hollywood Reporter in which a former employee of the “Sorry” singer alleged that he was millions in debt following the cancellation of his Justice World Tour.

Bieber had initially delayed the tour in 2020 because of the advent of the COVID pandemic, and again in 2022 after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis.

In the THR article titled “Justin Bieber’s Crisis of Faith?,” the news outlet noted that Bieber was not only broke but also owed a “large debt” of about $20 million to tour promoter AEG after canceling his tour, as he was reportedly given a $40 million advance before starting it.

“To date, Bieber has only returned a portion of what he borrowed,” the news outlet shared in the bombshell report.

Bieber swiftly addressed the speculations that he has gone “broke” and is owing millions of dollars.

The singer reacted to the claims in a statement released by his team on Wednesday, in which they seemingly assured fans that he’s doing well.

“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” Bieber’s team wrote in the statement shared with Us Weekly.

They continued, “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

Bieber’s team also denied the claims in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter: “Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress … either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality.”

Bieber also sparked concerns after he seemingly went on an overhaul of his inner circle, severing ties with his former manager Scooter Braun, his associate Allison Kaye, and longtime security chief Kenny Hamilton.

He has stopped working with some of his other key team members, including Ryan Good, the best man at his wedding and creative director of his streetwear brand, Drew House, which he recently stepped away from.

Bieber also reportedly felt betrayed by Tristar for allegedly mismanaging his finances for years and quit working with the company, after which he hired Edward White, who has worked with the likes of Johnny Depp, to manage the books.

However, his former friends and associates are questioning his decisions.

“Whatever he’s going through, I pray for him and hope he’s OK,” Bieber’s former collaborator Poo Bear, who co-wrote some of his biggest hits, including “What Do You Mean?” told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” one former team member said. “He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”

Justin Bieber’s Rep Previously Addressed Health Concerns Due To His Disheveled Appearances

Bieber left fans concerned over his health and well-being after he made several public appearances looking gaunt and disheveled.

Immediately, rumors started swirling that he had begun using “hard drugs,” and it was made worse when the singer appeared hollow-eyed and shirtless while playing some demo recordings for fans on a Livestream.

However, a rep for the singer downplayed the rumors, saying that Bieber is starting to feel drained by the comments that he is struggling with his mental and physical health.

“The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,” the rep told TMZ, adding that his client is actually “in one of the best places in his life.”

The source said that the Grammy winner is focused on “actively parenting his newborn son” and has endured a “very transformative” past year, in which “he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
