    Re: “Gluesenkamp Perez wants cognitive standards in Congress; colleagues disagree” (July 26, Local News):

    U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Washougal, is spot on in her attempts to weed out the old and the incompetent from Congress. There is a simpler solution: term limits.

    I propose two terms/10 years for the Senate and three terms/7 years for the House. And while we’re at it, let’s add limits to Supreme Court Justices’ terms, too.
