According to a source, the producer felt emasculated by Gwyneth Paltrow’s alleged confessions about her past relationships. These claims, depicted in the book, included allegations about her sex life.

The source claimed the biography had negatively influenced Paltrow’s relationship with her husband because it contained praises about her former partners. The biography claimed the “Iron Man” actress had raved about her highly-publicized romance with actors Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck.
