Prince Andrew’s ‘Nasty’ Comments About Kate Revealed As Cause Of William Rift

Reports suggest the Prince of Wales has increasingly grown frustrated with his uncle amid the barrage of controversies that have trailed him in recent times.

Prince William is also believed to have concluded plans on keeping Prince Andrew away from the firm when he becomes King.

Royal biographer Andrew Lownie has weighed in on the long-standing rift between Prince William and Prince Andrew in his new book titled “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York.”

Lownie claims Andrew made a number of “rude” and “unkind” comments about Kate Middleton, which caused his relationship with William to fall apart.

The royal author also noted that the alleged remarks came from a place of jealousy as Andrew was envious that the Princess of Wales had become a prominent figure of the royal family following Queen Elizabeth’s death.

“I can’t see how anyone could make unkind comments about Kate when she’s been the family’s saving grace,” Lownie told Radar Online.

“It surprised me, but people do get jealous,” he added. “I’d have thought Prince Andrew would respect William as future king though than to be nasty about his wife.”

It remains unknown what exactly was said about the future queen, but Lownie noted that it caused William to turn his back entirely on his uncle.

Amid the barrage of controversy that has trailed Andrew, the royal author added that William had grown increasingly frustrated with his uncle.

“William has a very strong sense of public duty and is doing his best to keep the show on the road,” Lownie said. “He’s all about doing things the right way and has enough on his plate without having to think about his uncle.”

“Everyone is pulling together — Charles, Anne, Edward, William, and others — but the whole side has been let down by Prince Andrew,” he added.

The Duke of York has been a controversial figure within the royal family for years, especially because of his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.

He was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages in 2022 and has since lived a largely private life at Royal Lodge.

“I don’t think he has any public future,” Lownie told Sky News. “I would say his private future is pretty limited, too. I mean, he lives in Royal Lodge [on the Windsor Estate], he plays golf, watches TV, and presumably sees his grandchildren … he’s living the life of a retired man.”

According to the author, one member of staff noted that the removal of his royal and military titles has stung more than the disgraced royal is willing to admit.

“What most annoys him is his lack of a royal status,” Lownie added. “That’s what really sort of gave him his whole sense of identity. And that’s, you know, it’s not being able to put on his uniforms and strut around and being self-important.”

King Charles and the royal family have reportedly been trying to evict Andrew from his Royal Lodge.

However, the duke seemingly achieved a quiet victory as Charles has now thrown in the towel on trying to kick out his younger brother.

According to a report, Andrew “has won the row” and would be staying put at the residence, at least for the time being.
