Estranged Wife Of Ryan Lochte Demands His Bank Records

Things aren’t getting any better for Ryan Lochte during his divorce from his estranged wife, Kayla Lochte.

According to new court documents, Kayla Lochte has filed subpoenas demanding that the court make her Olympian ex-partner release his financial statements and earnings.

Kayla, a former Playboy Playmate, filed new documents amid her messy divorce from Ryan, demanding that the gold medalist produce bank records for his personal and business accounts.

In court filings obtained by Us Weekly, Kayla requested all documents related to bank accounts in Ryan’s name from January 2019 to the present.

And she didn’t stop there. Kayla also asked for any new credit card information and requested information on any loans Ryan may have.

In addition to his bank accounts, subpoenas were also sent to Cash App to determine whether the swimmer received any payments through the app, and to Cameo, a website that allows celebrities to send personal videos to fans for a fee.

Kayla, 34, announced her decision to file for divorce from Ryan in a lengthy and emotional Instagram post in June 2025.

In the caption, according to a previous report from The Blast, Kayla described deciding to walk away as one of the most difficult things she’s ever done, adding that she left to protect her well-being.

“Sometimes we face trials we didn’t choose or see coming. And in those moments, we’re forced to make the hardest decisions to protect our peace, our children, and our future. I’ve come to the understanding that staying isn’t always the most loving decision someone can make. For me, leaving was an act of love — for those around me and for myself,” she said.

Months later, Kayla shared another post on her social media, telling her 337,000 followers that she’s currently “navigating a complex divorce” before admitting she feels “frozen in time.”

“I’m using this season to rebuild, rediscover who I am, and chase my dreams with clarity and courage,” she added.

In other court documents, Kayla made shocking allegations against Ryan, including claims of drug use in front of/around their minor children, according to The Blast.

In one filing, the Florida-based real estate agent asked the court for sole custody of her and Ryan’s three children, claiming leaving them with him would be “detrimental” to their safety because of the swimmer’s alleged “history of substance abuse.”

“[Ryan’s] recurring and repeated irresponsible behavior shows he is unfit to exercise shared parental responsibility, and it would [be] a detriment to the minor children to award the same,” Kayla’s legal representative shared.

Also among her claims, Kayla alleged Ryan had driven their kids to school while intoxicated and had previously passed out while being the only adult around to care for them.

However, Ryan clapped back at Kayla in a passionate statement, denying the serious allegations while also shedding light on he and Kayla’s previously “toxic” home environment.

“I have tried desperately to keep these divorce proceedings private and sealed, not to protect myself, but to protect my children from fabricated allegations that could hurt them. Unfortunately, despite that effort, my ex-wife chose to make this matter public, knowing I was already in intensive rehab,” he said.

In another statement, Ryan admitted to struggling with substances after falling into a depressive episode following a near-death accident in November 2024, prompting him to check into a Florida recovery center.

“I have tried desperately to keep these divorce proceedings private and sealed, not to protect myself, but to protect my children from fabricated allegations that could hurt them. Unfortunately, despite that effort, my ex-wife chose to make this matter public, knowing I was already in intensive rehab,” he said.
