A long-awaited and highly anticipated NFL debut took place Sunday afternoon in Cleveland.
Shedeur Sanders, the son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, saw his first NFL regular-season action in the Cleveland Browns‘ 23-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Sanders replaced the injured Dillon Gabriel after he departed the game to be evaluated for a concussion.
Overall performance
Sanders had a tough time getting acclimated to game speed, as he completed just four of his 16 attempts, totaling 47 yards. Sanders added three rushes for 16 yards, showcasing his ability to escape the pocket and use his legs when needed.
