Swift and Kelce broke the internet in the summer of 2023 following rumors of their possible connection. After making things official, the pair excited fans even further when they shared images from their engagement in August 2025.

While the details are likely still being fleshed out, Travis’ brother, former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce, admitted that he hopes to be his brother’s best man. “Time will tell if there is one or anything like that,” he said, according to The Blast. “I’ve been given no details on that front.”

Despite playing it cool, Jason is vying for the title of best man. “Hopefully, I’m the best man. We’ll see,” he said. “Trav has a lot of friends, I’m just hoping to get the opportunity.”

How Is Jason’s Relationship With His Soon-To-Be Sister-In-Law?

Regarding his relationship with Swift, Jason has spoken highly of the “folklore” singer on numerous occasions. In a recent interview, he praised the 36-year-old for her accomplishments but admitted he steers clear of those conversations when they’re together.

“We’ve tried to keep a lot of that out of the relationship. I just enjoy her being my brother’s soon-to-be wife, and aunt to my kids, and we try to leave that relationship where it should be,” he said before hinting that being one of the biggest celebrities in the world comes at a massive cost.

“… watching her operate, watching her savviness in getting her entire music catalogue back,” he said. “… watching how she has toured the globe while also writing an entire new album, the level at which she takes control over a lot of different aspects but also allowing people to be experts in their own right, I think that a lot of that stuff is fun to watch.”
