From Vine to YouTube to the world’s biggest stages, Logan and Jake Paul have seen it all. However, their mother, Pam Stepnick, has even loftier aspirations for her outspoken sons. In a new interview, Stepnick, 62, spoke about Jake’s recent bout against heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, revealing how terrified she was that the former Disney Channel star would be seriously injured. Elsewhere, Stepnick revealed her biggest hopes for her sons, which involve politics or possibly turning her into the next Donna Kelce.

Did Jake Take On Too Much During His Recent Boxing Match Against Anthony Joshua?

Speaking with Page Six, Stepnick admitted she was worried her son Jake, 28, “bit off a lot” before taking the ring in his latest boxing match, which streamed on Netflix on December 19. According to the mother of two, Jake’s bout had her “down on my knees,” praying about her son’s safety.

While Jake left the match with a broken jaw and his first-ever loss by knockout, his injuries could’ve been much worse, as he held his own against the boxing legend for the first five rounds before receiving a fierce right strike in the sixth. After the match, Joshua spoke with reporters and gave the media personality his respect, adding, “Jake done well while it lasted… but fighting is not just physical, it’s psychological.”

He continued, “I did say to Jake, ‘What’s going to happen is I’m going to see a time when I’m going to take your soul, and you’re either going to give up or get knocked out.'”

Appearing on Logan’s podcast, “Impaulsive,” Jake told his brother that he was grateful for the experience of fighting against such a strong competitor, calling his jaw-dropping knockout all “mental” rather than technical. “He was imposing his will on me and being massive, and the big shots landing, it goes downhill from there,” he said.

According to Jake, had he trained the way he was hoping, things might’ve gone a lot differently for him. “I wish I had more than three weeks to prepare, put on more muscle,” he said. “Sit there and hit him. I should have gone to altitude to train, that was my biggest mistake.”

Weeks before the contest, Jake displayed supreme confidence, promising viewers something they’d never seen before. “When I beat Anthony Joshua, every doubt disappears, and no one can deny me the opportunity to fight for a world title,” he declared. “To all my haters, this is what you wanted.”

While Jake’s newfound boxing career and Logan’s stint in the WWE keep them busy enough, rumors suggesting the two might enter politics have circulated for some time. While their mom can’t confirm or deny the suggestions, she implied she’d be more than ready to jump on the Paul campaign.

“I could see it…President Paul, or Secretary Paul, Secretary of Defense – I don’t know if I’d wish that upon anyone!” she laughed. “But I do know that they are preparing for [life outside the ring] as we speak, building other companies they’re involved with.”

And if politics don’t work out, could Logan and Jake be future owners of an NFL team? Stepnick sure hopes so.

“I personally picture them buying a sports team like football,” she said. “That’s my goal. And then I get to go to all the football games that I missed when they didn’t go to college! I’d like to be like Mama Kelce,” she added, referring to Donna Kelce, mother of NFL players Travis and Jason.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Logan had much to celebrate this year, including his new marriage to Danish model Nina Agdal. After welcoming their daughter Esmé together in September 2024, the pair tied the knot and documented the special occasion with snaps on Instagram.

Previously, Agdal opened up about the first time she and Logan met, describing it as the moment she knew she’d be with the Ohio native for eternity. “He came upstairs and we started joking around. It instantly felt like I had known him for years, and here we are. It was wild!” she said.

Before that, Logan took his followers behind the scenes of the day he popped the big question. “Today is the day I ask the love of my life to marry me. Fourteen months ago, I fell in love with the most beautiful human being I’ve ever seen in my life, and I have been waiting for this day ever since,” he said.
