‘Immature’ Mandy Moore Praises Hilary Duff’s Boo Amid Ashley Tisdale Feud

Fans are sharing their strong reactions after singer Mandy Moore praised Hilary Duff‘s husband, Matthew Koma, on Instagram a day after the songwriter made waves by mocking Ashley Tisdale.

Tisdale, known for her role in “High School Musical” and Disney’s “Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” made headlines in early January 2026 after penning a personal essay for “The Cut” about leaving her “toxic” mom group.

Moore reshared a nearly a year-old video from Koma’s Instagram Stories of her singing at a benefit concert held in California after the tragic Pacific Palisades fires. “This feels incredibly fitting as @matthewkoma happens to be one [of] the most talented and generous humans I’m lucky to know (he literally gave my family a place to stay one year ago today when we evacuated),” Moore wrote. “Love you, MB!!”

Moore spoke about losing part of her Altadena home in early February 2025, according to PEOPLE. While Moore’s husband lost his music studio along with their garage and guest house, the “This Is Us” actress revealed that the main portion of their property was still standing.

In a separate post, Moore slammed Amazon for allegedly delivering a package to her in-laws’ home that was destroyed. “Do better, Amazon. Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father in law’s home. Smh,” she wrote.

Moore’s post in support of Koma comes a day after the 38-year-old publicly shaded Tisdale, who, days before, wrote about her dramatic fallout with a group of mom friends in a personal essay.

Koma shared an image of himself online, mimicking Tisdale’s pose, and captioned the fictional cover: “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”

Social media users weren’t too pleased with Koma’s move, as one called the father of three a “pretentious as-hole,” while another said he gave them “the ick.”

“The kind of guy who never misses a chance to put a woman down online,” another person shared. “First it was Amber Heard and now it’s Ashley Tisdale… weird dude trying way too hard to be funny.”

In Tisdale’s personal essay, covered by The Blast, the “Phineas and Ferb” actress detailed her experience with a “toxic” group of mom friends, which reportedly included Moore, Duff, and Meghan Trainor.

Tisdale explained that after connecting with her new group of mothers, she noticed her relationships with the other women shift. She implied that her feelings were confirmed when she discovered them hanging out together on social media without her.

“At first, I tried not to take things personally. It’s not like people aren’t allowed to get together without me — and maybe there were perfectly good reasons that I hadn’t been invited,” she said.

Eventually, Tisdale bluntly broke up with the group over text, writing, “This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”

A source close to the friend group shared their opinion on the fallout with a publication, saying it stemmed from “a misalignment of values that Ashley decided to make public.” They added that while relationships sometimes come to an end, Tisdale’s departure didn’t “warrant a dramatic breakup text.” Another source spoke on Tisdale’s behalf, saying that the “Be Good to Me” singer shared her story publicly to support other moms going through a similar situation.
