Continuing their most recent win streak on Saturday night, the San Antonio Spurs have now won eight in a row. The Spurs’ latest triumph came by putting up a season-high point total on the Sacramento Kings in a 139-122 win.
More so than just getting the win, San Antonio’s 40th of the season, the conversation after the game was about Victor Wembanyama‘s performance. And as par for the course during the Spurs’ wins, Wembanyama went wild once again.
Victor Wembanyama did it all against the Kings
The No. 1 overall pick from the 2023 NBA Draft scored 28 points in 30 minutes of action. He posted a double-double by adding 15 rebounds, six assists and four blocks to his box score.
Wembanyama was 11-of-20 from the field for an impressive 55% shooting night. He was also 1-of-5 from three.
