Israelis seek shelter as Iran launches retaliatory strikes

Civilians across Israel raced to find shelter on Saturday morning as air raid sirens rang out across major cities to warn of retaliatory strikes from Iran.

In the cities of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa, men, women and children were pictured running into buildings to escape the threat of rocket attacks from Iran following Israeli and U.S. strikes on the Islamic republic overnight.

Beaches, boardwalks and hospitals emptied out as underground parking lots and overpasses filled up. Citizens were seen sprinting towards vacant buildings as security personnel wheeled patients still recovering in their beds away from exposed wards to the underground parking lot.
