Unscripted shows are all the rage, and Prime Video has just announced a new one, “Reality Retreat.” The show, set to premiere in 2027, will feature several reality stars. Among the cast are “Housewives” alums Kenya Moore, Margaret Josephs, and Kim Zolciak, as well as “Chrisley Knows Best” star Julie Chrisley, and more.

Variety confirmed that Prime Video had greenlit “Reality Retreat,” the show’s working title, on May 11. The show will feature well-known reality TV personalities embarking on what is described as “a high-stakes wellness retreat designed to challenge their identities, relationships, and personal growth.”

The new series will also feature “Selling Sunset” alum Christine Quinn, “The Valley” star Brittany Cartwright, and singer and reality star Tamar Braxton.

Additionally, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jenn Tran from “The Bachelorette” will appear, as will Hilaria Baldwin, who recently appeared on “Dancing With the Stars,” and Savannah Chrisley, from “Chrisley Knows Best.”

Per the show’s official description, it takes place in “a tropical location” and features women “whose lives in the spotlight have made them icons, villains and tabloid fixtures.”

It continues, “Removed from their comfort zones, they embark on an immersive experience centered on healing, accountability, and transformation. Through intense wellness rituals, unfiltered truth-telling exercises, and emotionally charged confrontations, each participant must reckon with who they are beyond their public persona, as chaos, comedy, and catharsis unfold in equal measure.”

“Reality Retreat” will also feature Rich Edwards as the “concierge” for the group of reality stars, as well as Ashley Edelman, who will serve as their guru and wellness director. The upcoming Prime Video series comes from 495 Productions.

Jenn Levy, Amazon MGM Studios’ head of nonfiction series, released a statement on the show being picked up. She said, “Great unscripted television starts with bold, authentic personalities, this series brings together an unforgettable group of women audiences are deeply invested in.”

Levy continued, “By placing them in an environment that strips away expectation and forces real introspection, we’re creating a series that is as emotionally raw as it is entertaining. It’s a wild, honest, and oftentimes hilarious ride about identity, reinvention, and what happens when larger-than-life stars are forced to confront themselves… and each other.”

What multiple of the reality stars cast for “Reality Retreat” have in common is that they’ve been involved with some sort of public scandal. For example, according to Page Six, Moore exposed explicit photos that were then thought to be of her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star, Brit Eady, while at a filmed event. This then led to her dismissal from the show.

Regarding Chrisley, she and her husband, Todd Chrisley, served 28 months in prison for tax evasion and fraud. Then there’s also Cartwright, who is still going through a very public divorce from Jax Taylor.

Reality television fans are weighing in on Prime Video’s “Reality Retreat.” One person said on X, “This is peak TV irony, Kenya Moore and Hilaria Baldwin in one place sounds like a meltdown waiting to happen. Betting it’s more drama than therapy.”

Another person wrote, “Finally, some fresh reality content. Hope it’s as chaotic as it sounds.” Someone else stated, “I will be watching for my girls, Kenya and Tamar.”

A different fan noted the presence of Moore, Zolciak, and Josephs, saying, “Amazon is coming for Bravo and Andy Cohen.”

However, someone else took issue with some of the cast. According to them, “We need to let the Chrisleys fade into the abyss.”

Kim Zolciak Previously Alluded To The Show In Court Filings

“Reality Retreat” was first rumored in March 2026, when several reports revealed the cast and stated they were filming in the Dominican Republic. After that, Zolciak alluded to the series in a court filing amid her ongoing divorce and custody battle with Kroy Biermann. This came after he accused her of not seeing the children for several weeks.

Per TMZ, she replied in the legal filing, “These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character. I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are cared for something I will never apologize for.”
