Tom Brady Finds Dating Tough After Ex-Wife’s Pregnancy Left Him ‘Stung’

Tom Brady is reportedly finding it tough to get back into the dating scene.

Following his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen, the football player has been tied up with his new role as an NFL analyst and doesn’t have the time to find himself a girlfriend.

Tom Brady’s singlehood was made even more daunting by his ex-wife’s newfound romance and pregnancy with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, which allegedly left him feeling “stung.”

Tom Brady is seemingly grappling with the difficulty of dating again as he moves on from the recent shock he endured.

According to the Daily Mail, the NFL legend is understood to be “busy” in his new role as a football analyst and has turned his attention to solidifying his budding broadcasting career that he’s finding it difficult to date again.

“Tom would love to date more, but he is busy and very focused on his first year of being a commentator,” a source told the news outlet. “It is easier to be single right now.”

Brady was left with a sour taste in his mouth with news that his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen was expecting her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, who she has been dating since June 2023.

The sports icon and the former Victoria’s Secret angel were married for about 13 years before finalizing their eye-watering $ 733 million divorce in October 2022. Together, they share two children: a son, Benjamin, and a daughter, Vivian.

Brady recently signed a 10-year deal with Fox Sports worth a whopping $375 million. He’s seemingly still trying to get the hang of the role and has fully thrown himself into it as a way of taking his mind off the heartbroken feelings he had following Bundchen’s pregnancy.

“At first, everything stings,” the source said. “Her getting pregnant, her hanging out with Joaquim, her moving on. But then he snaps out of it and remains busy, knows that his life is pretty good and to worry about things he can’t control is a waste of time.”

They continued, “He could complain but what’s the point? He got the best out of the relationship with Gisele until it fell apart, now it’s not his problem anymore. He will be fine.”

Since his split from Bundchen, the former New England Patriots quarterback has been linked to several names, including Irina Shayk, Brazilian influencer Isabella Settanni, as well as “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Brooks Nader.

The 7-time Superbowl champion’s ability to get a partner could seemingly be hampered by the fact that he doesn’t want any more children.

According to the Daily Mail, the source wee explained that Brady, who also shares 17-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan, has no plans to become a father again and believes that his stand could affect his chances of finding love again.

“He doesn’t anticipate having more kids, and that makes it a little more difficult to find the right person,” the insider said. “But when he’s got the time to dive into dating again, he’s Tom Brady, so how difficult will it be to find someone?”

Unlike Brady, Bundchen is expecting her first child with her jiujitsu trainer boyfriend and recently showed off her growing baby bump as they vacationed in Costa Rica.

Meanwhile, Brady’s career in the booth has kicked off to a heavily-criticized start with Fox executives said to be eyeing an area he needs to improve on.

According to John Ourand’s Puck Newsletter, the top powers at the news outlet want the rookie commentator to focus more on what he’s seeing on the field and less on the intangibles. However, they’re confident he can continue improving as the season progresses.

Brady has already shown signs of progress, having worked on fine-tuning some of the gaps of silence and lagging responses on air, and has generally become more active while focusing on the development of young players and leadership.

Brady is seemingly in an awkward position with his new role after he was finally approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders last month, per the Daily Mail.

As a part owner of a franchise, Brady is not permitted to attend in-person or online broadcast production meetings and may not have access to team facilities, players, or coaches, a privilege Fox and other networks are typically afforded.

He must also be mindful of what he says in the booth and abide by the league constitution and bylaws that prohibit public criticism of officials and other clubs.
