For most of the season, Jalen Duren has been a physical menace and rebounding machine for the Detroit Pistons. But in their Game 4-loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was anything but.
The 22 year old was limited to just eight points and two rebounds in 27 minutes of action while committing five fouls, a performance he knows he can’t repeat if Detroit is going to reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2008.
“I’ve just got to be better, man. I got no excuses,” he said after the 112-103 loss on the road.
Duren and Co. will be happy to be back in Detroit on Wednesday night after going 0-2 in Cleveland.
Which brings us to today’s Duren recorded 10.5 rebounds-per-game in the regular season, his third-consecutive campaign averaging double-digit boards in his four-year career. He also recorded his fifth-career 20-rebound with 22 against Utah in November. With that being said, can you name the active NBA players with multiple 20-rebound games?
