Elon Musk, known for his ventures in technology and space, has now ventured into government efficiency by heading President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team.
So far, he’s passing with flying colors. How do we know? Because Democrats and the media are furious that he’s being allowed to root out government corruption.
According to a recent Bloomberg report, Musk and his team are actively halting payments to certain U.S. federal contractors as they sort through the waste.
“The corruption and waste is being rooted out in real-time,” Musk posted on X, adding that DOGE officials were “rapidly shutting down” payments, specifically in reference to USAID.
USAID has erroneously been presented as an organization that provides aid, but in reality, it stands for the U.S. Agency for International Development. And it’s being outed as a Democrat slush fund, in addition to its traditional role as a CIA cutout for fomenting revolution abroad.

DOGE Is Trying To Take Down USAID
DOGE first began cleaning house at USAID late last week, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio eventually taking over the role of acting director.
Since then, billions of dollars in grants have been frozen as the Trump administration attempts to make sense of the seemingly never-ending funding of left-wing pet projects by USAID.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday laid out very specific examples of waste generated from the agency. And it’s no wonder Democrats are furious that Musk and his DOGE army are trying to put a stop to it.
“1.5 million dollars to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces. $70,000 for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland. $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia. $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru,” Leavitt revealed.
Transgender operas. That’s where your tax money goes.
“I don’t know about you, but as an American taxpayer, I don’t want my dollars going towards this crap, and I know the American people don’t either, and that’s exactly what Elon Musk has been tasked by President Trump to do,” Leavitt added.
“To get the fraud, waste, and abuse out of our federal government.”

It Must Die
Elon Musk has been crystal clear on what must happen to USAID. He and the DOGE team are setting about dismantling the agency.
“USAID is a criminal organization. Time for it to die,” Musk unequivocally declared in a post on X.
The White House issued a statement of support for Musk’s efforts, noting that USAID’s waste, corruption, and abuse run deep.
“For decades, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been unaccountable to taxpayers as it funnels massive sums of money to the ridiculous — and, in many cases, malicious — pet projects of entrenched bureaucrats, with next-to-no oversight,” the statement reads.
“Under President Trump, the waste, fraud, and abuse ENDS NOW.”
Trump is the man to greenlight it. Musk is the man to do it.
