President Milei’s Party Wins Argentina Midterm Election in Landslide | The Gateway Pundit

Argentina just sent a shockwave through global politics. President Javier Milei’s party swept the 2025 national legislative elections, capturing 40.84% of the vote compared to just 24.50% for the Kirchnerist bloc, with 91 percent of ballots counted.

This landslide victory is not just a local shift in Buenos Aires, but a symbol of a broader movement that embraces liberty, rejects socialism, and affirms the values of conservative governance.

Milei, known for his fiery speeches and unapologetic defense of free markets, has long drawn comparisons to President Donald Trump.

Both leaders rose by challenging entrenched political establishments, denouncing corruption, and restoring national pride.

When Trump says “America First,” Milei echoes with his own rallying cry: “¡Viva la libertad, carajo!”

The phrase—“Long live liberty, damn it!”—has become the anthem of Argentinians who are sick of decades of economic decline under leftist rule.

For years, Argentina has been suffocated by socialist policies that destroyed its currency, fueled runaway inflation, and eroded opportunity for ordinary families.

Much like how the Biden administration’s reckless spending had driven inflation in the United States, Kirchnerist governments in Argentina pushed failed welfare expansion, currency manipulation, and crushing regulation.

The result was predictable: financial collapse, rising unemployment, and hopelessness among the youth. Milei’s countinued rise is a direct rejection of that failed formula.

What makes this moment globally significant is how it validates Trump’s own agenda.

Trump has always warned against socialism’s dangers—whether in Venezuela, Cuba, or closer to home in Washington, D.C. Milei’s victory shows that when citizens are given a choice between endless dependency and real liberty, they choose freedom.

The Argentinian people have spoken loudly, and they’ve chosen a conservative revolution.

This victory also builds an international coalition. Milei and Trump share more than rhetoric—they share policy instincts: cutting taxes, unleashing energy production, defending national sovereignty, and putting their citizens first.

It’s no wonder Trump celebrated Milei’s win, declaring, “Viva la libertad, carajo!” That solidarity underscores a new alignment where conservative movements across the globe push back against socialist overreach.

Argentina’s legislative landslide is proof that people can still rise up against broken systems. Just as Americans in 2016 demanded change with Trump, Argentinians in 2025 demanded liberty with Milei.

It is a message that transcends borders: when leaders stand up for their citizens and embrace freedom, victory follows.
