Keith Lee Trades Food For Kicks, Rates A’ja Wilson’s Nike A’One

Known for his viral food reviews, Keith Lee has another passion outside of food – sneakers.

Lee was recently gifted a pair of A’ja Wilson‘s new signature shoes, Nike A’One, and being a sneakerhead, Lee wanted to give his honest review of the highly anticipated shoe.

While Wilson’s new shoes have yet to be released to the pubic, some lucky Las Vegas fans got a pair of the shoes during a special limited release on Saturday at two Vegas Dick’s Sporting Goods. They hype is building over the Las Vegas Aces MVP’s first signature shoe, and Lee’s review will help keep that hype going until fans can grab their own pair in early May.

Lee began his TikTok video reviewing Wilson’s new pink shoes by sharing his two “real life” hobbies.

“One is traveling the world eating food. The other one is collecting sneakers,” he said. ” And as you can see today, I ain’t got no food in my hand. But what I do got in my hand is a sneaker that was sent from Nike.”

He then said his iconic phrase, altered slightly, “I got it. Let’s look at it and rate it one to 10.”

Lee then opened the box in front of the camera and shared that he hasn’t seen them yet. He pulled the A’One box out and gave a close up look of the logo on the box.

Lee couldn’t contain his excitement over the hot pink shoes. He then tried them on and said, “I’m not gonna lie. These gas.” He then began the real test – running through his house. At one point, he stopped to show his wife Ronni the shoes who said, “I like them.”

Lee then held up a shoe and showed some “Easter eggs” that Ronni noticed. On the bottom of the shoe is written, “As a matter of fact, the best is yet to come,” and “Weakness? Weakness? We don’t got time for that.”

“I’m a huge presentation person when it comes to shoes, so I love the box. I love the colorway. I love the sleekness. I love how light these are. I love how comfortable they are. I’m throwing these on feet immediately,” he said. “In my opinion, this is a nine out of 10.”

Lee‘s video grabbed lots of attention, as his videos usually do. Many viewers dropped into the comment section to share their thoughts on the new shoes.

“Asia Wilson’s first signature sneaker? These are FIRE. Can’t wait to see the fit check! Nike never misses,” one fan wrote. Another said, “A’ja ate with these. She did so good.” One other viewer shared, “Right out the box those look sooooo comfy for people who run or do plyo type of workouts. 10/10.”

A few pointed out that Ronni needs a pair, too.

“Keith if you’re going to become a shoefluencer, these brand better be sending Mrs. Lee a pair,” one person wrote. Another added, “Ronnie said where her pair.”

While the new A’Ones will not be released until early May, some lucky fans in Las Vegas got their hands on a pair on Saturday.

On Saturday, March 22, 250 adult pairs and 50 youth pairs of Wilson’s shoes were sold at two Dick’s Sporting Goods locations – one at Fashion Show Mall and the other at The Galleria at Sunset. Fans got in line early to make sure they were able to purchase a pair of the new shoes and possibly meet Wilson, who made an appearance at both stores.

By the end of the day, almost all pairs were sold out. The Blast called both locations around 4 p.m. PT and was told at both locations that they only had a few choice sizes left.

Wilson officially unveiled the new hot pink shoe during the 2025 NBA All Star Weekend in February, which was a little tease for fans who have been anticipating her first signature shoe. They will be available for purchase on May 6.

It’s an exciting time for the Aces MVP. Nike A’One makes her the first-ever Las Vegas Aces player and only the 12th WNBA player in history to release a signature shoe. In addition to her new shoe release, she’s about to begin her seventh season in the WNBA.
