Julia Fox Rips Ex-Husband For Baptizing Their Son Without Her Involvement

An “upset” Julia Fox unloaded on her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev, in a fiery TikTok rant after he baptized their son, Valentino, without involving her in the ceremony.

The ex-girlfriend of Kanye West shared that she only realized that her four-year-old had been baptized when she recently attended a school performance with Artemiev.

Julia Fox also claimed that her ex-husband’s mother tried to gaslight her about why she was not involved as she went on to call her ex-husband a “loser.”

Taking to TikTok, Fox told her fans how she “crashed out” after discovering that her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev, baptized their 4-year-old son, Valentino, without her being “invited” to the ceremony.

“So basically what happened was, I went to my son’s school for his school performance, his dad was there, he came late as usual. And then I had to like help load some stuff in my car, so we were walking to my car, and he points to this church, and he goes, ‘Oh, this is where Valentina was baptized,'” the actress shared.

Shocked by the revelation, Fox said she asked her son’s father why she wasn’t invited, to which he replied, “You were invited, you just didn’t want to come.”

She was unwilling to accept the excuse and fired back at him, saying his statement was false and that she would have remembered such a milestone event if he had actually informed her.

However, her ex-husband doubled down, insisting that Fox “didn’t care” about attending.

Speaking further about the incident, Fox shared that her son’s father’s insistence made her recall how she was “gaslighted over and over and over” during their relationship.

She also revealed that she called his mother, who likewise tried to gaslight her about being invited.

“I called his mom. And I went off on her. And I said, ‘Why the hell was I not invited to this?'” Fox recalled. “And she was like, ‘Well, the priest said that it was like a Russian Orthodox thing, and only Russian Orthodox people could come.’ And it’s like, ‘Wow, now I see where this man gets it from.'”

According to Fox, her ex-husband’s mother’s response made her feel even worse, describing it as a “bullsh-t excuse.”

“These people are f-cking animals,” the mother of one said about her son’s father and his mother. “Girls, please, please, from the bottom of my heart. Who you have a child with will dictate the rest of your life. Do not have a child with a loser.”

In the comment section of her post, Fox’s fans said she had every right to react the way she did about her son’s baptism.

One fan wrote, “Not being informed of your son’s literal baptism is 100% a reason to crash out.”

A second user commented, “Umm… I feel like not only should you have gotten an invite, you should have been asked for permission??? That’s major.”

A third fan remarked, “This isn’t crashing out—this is a completely normal response to someone gaslighting you. He pointed the church out on purpose to elicit a reaction from you. He’s mad you’re everything Valentino needs, and he’s not.”

“What kind of baptism is performed without the mother??? Maybe I’m uninformed. That alone feels sinful,” one more person noted.

In the past, Fox called out her ex-husband on social media, describing him in a post as a “deadbeat” dad.

According to the Daily Mail, she said at the time, “I just don’t want my son f-cked up cuz he feels like his dad was absent or loved alcohol and partying more than him … this man left me with a 5-month-old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS. It’s wrong!!! It’s not fair!!!”

In response, Artemiev denied the claims, calling them “utterly false statements” and suggesting that Fox was “clearly struggling.”

Subsequently, Fox recanted her accusations, admitting that a separate incident between her and Artemiev had triggered her emotional outburst.
