Amber Heard Makes Shocking Addition To Her Family By Welcoming Twins

Actress Amber Heard seems to be doing better following her high-profile court trial against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

On May 11, the “Aquaman” actress revealed that she had added twins to her growing family, and that her 4-year-old daughter was loving it.

On May 11, the “Friday Night Lights” actress revealed that she had welcomed twins: a daughter, whom she named Agnes, and a son, whom she named Ocean. She also gave a sweet shout-out to her 4-year-old daughter, Oonagh.

“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget,” Heard wrote in the caption. “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Today, I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang.”

“My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full. When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever,” she continued. “I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!”

Although she did not go into detail, Heard went on to say that she had struggled with “fertility challenges” throughout the years.

“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully. To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you,” she concluded.

She wrapped up the post with “Love Always, A.” Although she has disabled comments on her Instagram posts, the message did get over 75,000 likes within two hours.

It appears that Oonagh Paige, who turned 4 in April, is delighted to be an older sister. An insider told PEOPLEmagazine that “Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family,” adding, “Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.”

The publication reported the news that Heard was expecting another child back in December, with a source stating that she was “delighted” at the time. Heard has always wanted to be a mother, explaining that she “decided I wanted to have a child” years ago in an Instagram post back in 2021.

“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote at the time. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

Following the fallout of her high-profile trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Heard moved overseas to lead a quiet life in Madrid, Spain. In a June 2022 interview with NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie, Heard explained that she was looking forward to focusing on her family.

“I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know? Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers,” she recalled. This prompted Guthrie to ask the new mom if she would ever tell her about the Johnny Depp trial someday.

“I think no matter what, it will mean something. I did the right thing. I did everything I could to stand up for myself and the truth,” Heard said at the time.
