IN THE NEWS: On Saturday, 70,000 citizens peacefully marched through the streets of Seattle to express their outrage at the lawless and autocratic actions of the Trump administration. There were also robust gatherings of protesters on the University of Washington campus, in Olympia, on a state ferry and in numerous communities, large and small, across the state.

The same was true in cities and towns all across the country. The total number of marchers was estimated to be as many as 5 million. Apparently, 250 years after the start of the American Revolution, massive numbers of people in the United States do not want to be ruled by a king any more than patriots did in 1775.
