Amanda Bynes Shares Photos Of ‘Special Getaway’ With Her ‘Boo’

Amanda Bynes is giving fans a glimpse into her personal life with cozy snapshots of herself and someone who appears to be her new love interest during a recent getaway.

The former actress’ last public relationship was in 2023, when she broke off her engagement to ex-fiancé Paul Michael for good. She has also courted controversy in the last few years, including an incident where she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold.

Amanda Bynes now appears to be hinting at a new relationship with a man whose identity remains unknown.

Taking to Instagram,  Bynes shared snaps from a recent getaway with a man who appears to be a love interest.

One of the shots, taken from Byne’s perspective, featured her seated at a sleek white patio table with several items scattered on it, including wine glasses filled with red and white wine, a can, a bottle of soda, a mug, and two packs of Marlboro cigarettes.

Across from her sat her mystery man, dressed casually in a black T-shirt, baseball cap worn backward, and dark shades.

The pair appear to be enjoying their downtime on a balcony setting, with a leafy tree to one side and a cityscape visible in the background.

Amanda’s caption, “Special getaway with my boo,” also made it clear she wanted to mark the moment.

In another photo, Bynes kept the romantic getaway vibes going, this time offering fans a peek inside her cozy night in with her new beau.

The snap showed the pair lounging together on a bed, legs stretched out as they watch TV in what looks like a chic hotel room.

Bynes has had her share of high-profile relationships, but her most recent public romance was with Paul Michael.

The two reportedly met in a rehabilitation center in 2019 and quickly developed a connection.

By February 2020, they were engaged, but instead of walking down the aisle, their relationship faced turbulence. Just three weeks after the proposal, the couple called it quits for the first time.

They rekindled their romance not long after, only to split again in July 2022. Another reconciliation followed, but by March 2023, the relationship had officially come to an end.

Following their breakup, Michael suggested in an interview with TMZ that Bynes cheated.

He claimed the former Disney star disappeared for three days, and the argument that followed when he asked her about her whereabouts ultimately pushed them apart.

The same month as her final split, Bynes was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold after being found wandering around in Los Angeles while nude.

She was back under the same hold in June 2023, suggesting she was dealing with significant personal struggles.

In March 2024, Bynes revealed that she had spent months battling depression, which led to noticeable weight gain.

At the time, she emphasized that she was now in a much better place and planned to lose much of the weight she had put on.

“I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean,” she wrote, per Marie Claire.

Since stepping away from acting, Amanda Bynes has been pursuing a career as a manicurist.

She first announced the career shift in December 2023, shortly after canceling her podcast with Paul Sieminski following its debut episode.
