Nicole Kidman Not Ready For A ‘Heart-to-Heart’ With Keith Urban

According to reports, the legal process is being handled by their lawyers, as the actress isn’t ready to have a heart-to-heart conversation with the singer.

Both Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have yet to address their split officially, but have been spotted multiple times in public since it became known in September.

Insiders have provided an update to #ShuterScoop on Kidman following her divorce filing from her husband of nearly two decades, Keith Urban.

They claim that behind the composed public appearances that show she may be “hanging in there,” the divorce process has been an incredibly difficult emotional period.

The sources also revealed that Kidman and Urban have left all of the handling of the divorce process to their lawyers and haven’t had any communication since the papers were filed.

This includes even basic logistical details, such as holidays and housing, likely for their two children, Sunday Rose and Faith, whom they plan to co-parent.

One insider painted a stark picture of how cold things have become between the former couple, describing their current relationship as “frozen.”

Neither party seems interested in breaking the silence anytime soon. “Nicole isn’t ready for a heart-to-heart, and Keith isn’t pushing it,” the insider noted. “Right now, silence is the most they can agree on.”

Kidman and Urban’s split came as a surprise to their friends, given the lovey-dovey public image of their relationship.

As of now, neither Kidman nor Urban has officially addressed the separation, though the actress has seemingly hinted at it in recent interviews.

One such instance was with Interview Magazine, where Kidman shared that she felt “safe” and “protected” on the set of her upcoming movie “Practical Magic 2,” in which she stars alongside Sandra Bullock.

Kidman also made another striking remark during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar when she was asked about the best part of growing older.

“There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through,” she told the outlet.

Kidman’s busy schedule since her divorce was revealed seems to have led insiders to conclude that the actress is “heartbroken but functioning.”

She is also still not shutting the door on a potential reconciliation, but for now, she is focused on healing and raising her girls.

“Her priority is the girls, full stop. Everything else — including Keith — can wait,” a source revealed to #Shutter Scoop.

Since the split, a number of speculations have swirled about what may have led to it, with one particular narrative involving rumors of Urban’s alleged infidelity.

Recently, a source who spoke with #ShuterScoop hinted that politics may have played a real part in their split. This came after Urban made an unanticipated appearance at Mar-a-Lago to perform at a private party.

According to the insider, the former couple often ended up on “opposite sides of heated conversations,” and Urban’s outing at Mar-a-Lago was something Kidman wouldn’t have allowed herself to be in such a situation.

“That moment showed where Keith stands. Nicole would never step foot in that place, and there is Keith singing and entertaining the crowd,” the source said, adding that the actress has long since shown that she tilts towards progressive and liberal-leaning causes.

Some sources have also said that the couple doesn’t share similar political stances and that it ultimately grew “impossible to ignore.”
