Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay will grow tired of constantly having to answer questions about whether former defensive lineman Aaron Donald is coming out of retirement.

McVay spoke to the media on Tuesday at Loyola Marymount University in L.A., the team’s training camp site. He once again fielded questions about Donald, who’s considering coming back for the 2026 season. The coach provided no major update.

Sean McVay speaks on Aaron Donald’s status

“I have had conversations with [Donald],” McVay said. “We’ve kept in contact, he’s feeling good. But no news on the front of like, any imminent decision on whether he’s going to play.”

McVay then deflected questions about whether Donald is still working out at the team’s facility in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of L.A., after he was spotted there earlier this summer.

“There’s nobody at the Rams facility right now. Maybe TMZ knows the answer to that,” McVay said tongue-in-cheek.
