A ‘Temptation Island’ Temptress Scorned: Who Blocked Who?

Things may have cooled off after “Temptation Island,” but the drama is still heating up.

After a whirlwind season of steamy connections and emotional goodbyes, one temptress, who attended a recent reunion that The Blast got an exclusive sneak peek of, is now throwing subtle shade and exposing a former flame and castmate who blocked her.

Kay Carlson may have formed one of the strongest connections on the most recent season of “Temptation Island,” but things took a turn after the cameras stopped rolling, and she’s finally speaking out about what went wrong.

From the moment they met, Kay says she and Tyler Breshears bonded over spirituality and fitness, two shared passions that sparked hours-long conversations and early-morning workouts.

“We had a long conversation at the lingerie party,” she recalled during a cast reunion hosted by Mark L. Walberg. “I’m a very free-spirited person and I got that vibe from Tyler right away.”

Although the show never aired their professional backgrounds, Kay says their similar career goals played a role in their connection. “He wasn’t working in sales anymore, and he was trying to pursue fitness and the social media modeling industry,” which is also what Kay does, allowing them to connect on another level.

But when it came time to define their relationship after the show, reality hit hard.

“Our overnight date was all conversation,” Kay said. “It was eye-opening for me. After the overnight date, we had a mature discussion in the sense of we weren’t going to be in a relationship after the island because Tyler hadn’t been single since he was 18.”

Despite parting ways romantically, they kept in touch, at least for a while. Kay says they talked regularly for about two months after filming wrapped, but contact suddenly dropped off around the 4th of July.

“The timeline is really messy for me, for the public, for everybody. Taylor, I think too,” she explained about what happened post-show. “He stopped texting me two months after the show, so around the 4th of July, but I heard he started hanging out with his new girl two weeks after the show.”

“But then I also heard they didn’t start dating until September, October, so I have no idea about the new relationship. All I can speak on is myself,” she added, emphasizing that after the 4th of July, “is when communication pretty much stopped unless it was in the group chat with everybody.”

She did say the two started talking again about a month before the “Temptation Island” premiere, though it is unclear exactly how long that lasted.

Then came the real shock: learning secondhand that Tyler was upset about her presence on OnlyFans, something she says he never addressed with her directly but talked about publicly on “The Viall Files.”

“I felt offended by that because he had nine months to discuss that conversation with me and never once brought it up,” Kay explained. “Actually, we were really great friends going into the show. We talked on the phone the day before release. We said we were a team. We were really excited to watch the show.”

“So he went on the podcast to try and be this really moral guy that’s better than me,” she speculated. “And he decided that he didn’t want to be with me [because of OnlyFans,] which I’m honestly confused [about] because that was never information relayed to me.”

“It was actually the opposite,” she added. “He was actively supporting me for two months after the show. Trying to see me. Saying he was in love with me after the show. Asking me to come to Miami. Asking me to visit Nashville. Saying he supports me so hard with my job. So that’s why, to me, when he went on the podcast and just said, you know, I wasn’t okay with it.”

Today, she says she’s saddened by how things ended between them.

“I really hate where it’s gotten. I assume he doesn’t like me because he has me blocked,” Kay said. “But I genuinely never wanted it to get like this. I don’t even have anger towards Tyler.”

Kay further explained that she thinks Tyler blocked her after she made some jokes on social media that he may have found offensive.

“I’ve always been a very comical,” she admitted. “I love to make jokes. I was 100% going to make jokes about the situation, but I thought Tyler knew me very well and I think honestly, maybe a few of the jokes I’ve made on TikTok maybe rubbed him the wrong way to where he, you know, felt offended by it.”
