Continuing to show her true worth, Angel Reese enjoyed one of the best games of her career in leading the Atlanta Dream to a big win on Wednesday night.
Angel Reese put up a new postseason career-high in the Dream’s game 2 win
Handing the Dream a commanding 2-0 series lead in their best-of-five semifinal series with the New York Liberty, Reese put up a postseason career-high 23 points. She also scored in an efficient manner, going 8-of-16 from the field and 1-of-2 from long range.
And she did far more than just score as the Dream beat the Liberty, 101-98. Reese also recorded seven rebounds to go along with a pair of assists, two blocks and a steal.
Angel Reese has led the way during the Dream’s playoff run
Reese’s all-around monster performance only furthers her stellar postseason overall. She scored 17 while adding seven boards, four steals and two assists in the Dream’s series-opening win on Sunday.
Reese’s production against New York comes after leading her team to a 2-0 series sweep of the Washington Mystics in the first round. She scored 28 total points in those two games combined and posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in the first game.
