Tesla Attack in Seattle: Ideological Hatred Against Electric Vehicles?
Seattle, WA — Another Tesla was vandalized in Seattle in what appears to be a deliberate attack recorded by the vandals themselves. The incident, captured on video, shows an individual intentionally scratching the vehicle’s door while filming the scene with their phone—an act the owners describe as «terrifying and targeted.»

The Incident: A Mocking, Recorded Attack
Security footage shows the suspect glancing sideways at the parked Tesla before returning minutes later to scratch the passenger door with a sharp object. Most disturbingly, the individual appears to be recording the entire act on their phone, even laughing at the damage caused. «This isn’t just ordinary vandalism—it’s a message,» said the vehicle’s owner, who chose to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation.

The owner, who discovered the damage half an hour later, admitted feeling «uneasy and somewhat scared» since the incident. «It’s not just about the repair costs—it’s the feeling that someone did this on purpose, as if they had something against my car or what it represents.»

    Common Vandalism or Ideological Attack?
This is not an isolated case. In recent years, numerous incidents of Teslas being vandalized have been reported in liberal cities like Seattle, San Francisco, and Portland. Many conservatives argue these attacks could be motivated by political polarization surrounding Elon Musk, who has faced fierce criticism from the left after acquiring Twitter (now X) and defending free speech.

«There’s a narrative in certain extremist circles that Tesla represents ‘green capitalism’ or the ‘technocratic elite,’» explained a political analyst. «But scratching a car isn’t activism—it’s criminal behavior.»

    Police Response (or Lack Thereof)
Despite video evidence, the Seattle Police Department has yet to identify the suspect. This has sparked criticism that authorities are not taking these incidents seriously, especially when they occur in neighborhoods where luxury and electric vehicles are common.

«If this had happened to a car with progressive bumper stickers, they would’ve already declared it a hate crime,» commented a frustrated local resident. «But because it’s a Tesla, it seems like no one cares.»

What’s Next for Tesla Owners in Blue Cities?
With the rise in these incidents, many electric vehicle owners are reconsidering where they park or even installing additional cameras. Some conservative groups have begun offering rewards for information leading to the capture of these vandals.

«This isn’t just about cars—it’s about respect for private property,» said an activist. «If they let this happen to Teslas, what’s next?»
