The perpetrator behind the shocking Cybertruck bombing at Trump Tower Las Vegas has been identified as 37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Senior law enforcement sources confirmed to KOAA news outlet that Livelsberger was the driver of the Cybertruck used in the attack.
Authorities believe the blast was triggered by a detonation system controlled by Livelsberger, who died in the attack.
Recall that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI are leading the investigation, which is being treated as a potential act of terrorism.
Preliminary findings suggest that the vehicle’s bed contained a combination of fireworks, gas tanks, and camping fuel.
Livelsberger ties to Colorado Springs have prompted federal agents and local police to do search warrants on multiple addresses linked to him in the area.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is actively investigating a townhouse complex in the Stetson Hills neighborhood where Livelsberger is believed to have resided.

The complex is located on the east side of Colorado Springs in the Stetson Hills neighborhood. The FBI is at one of the addresses associated with Livelsberger.
Our team at the scene has seen law enforcement escort neighbors away from the complex, but police say there is no known threat to the community.
A LinkedIn profile believed to belong to Livelsberger paints a chilling picture, as reported by other news media. This information has not been independently verified by The Gateway Pundit at this time.
Earlier Wednesday, 9NEWS reported that “the person who rented the truck and drove it to Las Vegas has lived in Colorado Springs, and has military experience. 9NEWS is choosing not to identify the person until law enforcement has publicly identified them.”
The suspect served in the elite Green Berets, the U.S. Army’s Special Forces unit, renowned for its expertise in unconventional warfare. More alarmingly, the profile indicates Livelsberger was still actively employed by the U.S. Army as a Remote and Autonomous Systems Manager, a role he reportedly held for three months leading up to the attack.
If ever this is his LinkedIn account, his military experience bears disturbing similarities to another terrorist incident in New Orleans on Wednesday.
Interestingly, the vehicle had been rented through the Turo app, the same platform used to rent a pickup truck involved in a deadly attack in New Orleans.
Chief investigative reporter for Denver News, Tony Kovaleski, wrote, “Sources also confirming Livelsberger served at the same military base as the terrorist responsible for the attack in New Orleans and authorities are investigating a possible connection between the two men.”
