Brooks Nader Is Reportedly Close To Quitting ‘DWTS’: Here’s Why

The former “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue” cover model has teamed up with pro dancer Gleb Savchenko for Season 33 and successfully navigated four weeks of competition. However, speculation surrounding a possible romance between the dance partners heated up before the season even kicked off.

The rumors have persisted through the early part of the season, fueled by a leaked fan video that captured the couple sharing a kiss.

While Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko showcase undeniable chemistry on the dance floor, Brooks seems frustrated by the judges’ comments.

Sources reveal that the model and current contestant has been frustrated with what she deems “unfair” critiques from the judges, which she feels undermine her hard work and dedication.

“They felt the commentary has been a lot harsher for them than other couples who performed better and do not feel it’s fair,” the source told The U.S. Sun.

Derek Hough expressed his thoughts on the couple’s performance by stating he “wanted to see more” and felt they had “wasted” the first part of the song. He indicated that had he witnessed “more of the beautiful dancing,” he would have awarded them a higher score.

Additionally, she has expressed concern over the treatment of her partner, Gleb Savchenko, feeling that the criticism directed at him has been disrespectful.

“Brooks knows she can do better and loves this experience overall but she’s talking about quitting the show,” the source shared. “She won’t, I don’t think she’s actually serious when she says that but she’s mad with how the show is handling things and is mad with how they’re treating Gleb the most.”

Nader and Savchenko delivered a steamy performance last week on “Dancing with the Stars,” fueling speculation that their connection extends beyond the dance floor. Dressed in matching outfits, the duo showcased their undeniable chemistry as they performed a sultry rumba to Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing,” perfectly embodying the flirty vibe of their routine.

The couple earned a solid judges’ score of 28 out of 40 from Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge Rosie Perez.

Despite the buzz surrounding their undeniable chemistry, Nader stressed, “I really want people to take me seriously as a dancer because I’m actually working really hard to learn the routines. So, I want people to focus on that too.”

Since the premiere of ” DWTS ” season 33 last month, Nader and Savchenko have been grabbing headlines for more than just their impressive dance moves.

“It was an instant connection and chemistry,” the model told Us Weekly. “We don’t get to pick our partners, so we have no idea until we meet them that first day who it is. It was definitely a sign from some universe that I got paired with Gleb.”

A source recently confirmed to Us that the pair are “hooking up,” yet they have remained tight-lipped about their relationship status.

After the now-viral video of Nader and Savchenko sharing a kiss backstage, the model opened up about the moment during an interview with Extra’s Terri Seymour at “Goldie’s Love-In Gala.”

“Who wouldn’t want to make out with Gleb?” the model quipped, but later clarified, “We’re a dance couple for now. We’re not in a relationship.”

Nader was previously married to advertising executive Billy Haire from 2019 until their separation in 2022. Meanwhile, “Dancing with the Stars” choreographer Savchenko shares two children, Olivia and Zlata, with his ex-wife, Elena Samodanova.
