Bruce Willis was recently seen in high spirits during a rare public outing in Los Angeles.

Despite his struggles with aphasia and dementia, the Hollywood legend appeared relaxed and cheerful as he cruised around the city with a driver, proudly sporting a Los Angeles Dodgers cap.

The L.A. outing comes after Bruce Willis’ ex-partner Demi Moore gave an update on his health last month, disclosing that “he is in a stable place.”

According to the Daily Mail, the “Pulp Fiction” actor was seen out and about for a sunny L.A. drive time on Sunday amid his battle with aphasia and dementia.

Bruce was seated in the passenger seat of a black vehicle as he sported a black Los Angeles Dodgers mesh ballcap, as the hometown team holds a 2-0 lead over the New York Yankees in the ongoing World Series.

He doubled it down with a black zip-up hoodie jacket and white T-shirt as he maintained an upbeat look for the daytime drive in Southern California.

The sighting offers a comforting glimpse into Bruce’s life since he stepped away from Hollywood due to his health condition.

It comes after Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore shared an update about his health during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” sharing that “given the givens, he is in a stable place.”

The pair were married between 1987 and 2000 and share three children: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. She also opened up about how she has advised her children to deal with the enduring family health crisis.

“What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at,” Moore said on the show. “You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment.”

“And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness. When I’m in L.A., I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share,” she added.

Despite being divorced for more than 24 years now, Bruce and Moore have kept their relationship cordial for the sake of their children. Their daughter, Rumer, opened up about how the pair have been able to stay close and raise separate families together during the Los Angeles premiere of her movie, “Trail of Vengeance,” on Thursday, Oct. 17.

“He’s doing really well,” she told E! News. “I’ve seen him like the other day, right before I left and we got to all go over, and it was so wonderful.”

She also gushed about Bruce’s role as a grandfather to her daughter, Louetta, who she shares with ex-Derek Richard Thomas.

“She’s the only grandchild. It’s just nice,” Rumer shared. “I feel like being able to share in any sort of, you know, like a new life and grandchildren era, is just such a beautiful thing.”

The actress went on, “And, you know, especially because he’s such a girl dad anyway. I mean, having another girl is pretty cool.”

Rumer praised Bruce and Moore for setting a good example when it comes to raising a blended family.

“I’m so grateful,” Rumer told People. “I think one of the most beautiful things to witness about my parents’ relationship still is just their love and support of each other.”

“It means so much to me, the way that my mom – and I think to all of my sisters and I – the way that my mom shows up for all of us as we are working with it, as she is working with it, even how she is with my other little sisters,” she explained.

“We go over to dinner at Emma’s house with the girls, and we’re family,” she added. “And I think family can look differently in a lot of ways, but it’s just about what it means.”

Rumer went on to share what the relationship dynamics looked like in their home, explaining that Bruce and Moore were able to come up with a co-parenting plan that never made their children feel like they were “against each other.”

“I never had to split a holiday. We never had to split family vacations or Christmases or birthdays. And I think that a lot of the time, it’s just our own ego,” Rumer recounted.

“If you put your kids first, if you’re fighting with that person and can’t put aside whatever it is for your kid, that’s about you. That’s how I feel about it. And I know it’s challenging sometimes,” she added.
