Cara Delevingne Met With QR Code Mishap In Paris Fashion Week

Cara Delevingne is turning heads in Paris for reasons she would rather not.

The actress was involved in a bit of ruckus at the point of her entrance to Stella McCartney’s show, and fans have a lot to say about the situation.

Cara Delevingne has become a staple at Paris Fashion Week over the years, having even launched a capsule collection with the late designer Karl Lagerfeld back in 2022.

The model was seemingly left with no option but to stay in line at Paris Fashion Week after security failed to recognize her and promptly denied her entrance into the event. Delevingne was dressed in a tank top paired with jeans and lace-up leather chap panels topped with oversized glasses. 

The model appeared very restless as she stood with her arms crossed, waiting for the queue to move until she reached the QR codes section, where a woman would conduct the check.

A frustrated Delevingne eventually found her way into the venue after she got frustrated, telling the security, “OK, I’m just going to walk in, this is getting crazy. Can I just go in?”

Despite her attempt, she was still questioned until one of her staff members intervened, urging her to lift her sunglasses, which prompted an apology from the staff and subsequently gave her access.

In a viral TikTok clip, Delevingne was seen rushing into the building and later settling into the front row alongside other Hollywood celebrities, including Helen Mirren, Paris Jackson, Jenna Coleman, Woody Harrelson, and Anna Wintour.

Despite the difficulty Delevingne experienced at the point of entry, a few fans could not help but criticize the model’s body language while the staff carried out their duties. According to one TikTok user, Delevingne has a serious attitude problem, while another commenter wrote:

“I think she’s annoyed because by being forced to stand in line, she’s essentially just having paparazzi directly in her face for 10 mins versus going in and sitting down.”

A third TikTok user stressed that everything about Paris and the event is just so disorganized, which is why they would understand her frustration.

Furthermore, the user stated that no model should be required to wait in line during a week when they are in the spotlight. This critic wondered why the model always appears unhappy, as a co-commenter insisted that Delevingne is “so unlikeable!”

The 33-year-old attended the high-brow event in 2022 to showcase her Cara Loves Karl capsule collection, weeks after she had missed the New York Fashion Week edition of the event. As shared by PEOPLE, Delevingne showed up at the event in a daring, oversized tuxedo jacket that flaunted her cleavage.

She paired the blazer dress with a belt that featured Lagerfeld’s name and honey blonde hair. The model, while explaining her vision for the collab, affirmed that she did not want to constrain the pieces to a particular gender.

“It was important to me that the collection not be just unisex, but genderless,” the Hollywood personality stressed. She continued that the late designer must be so proud of her for bringing their vision to life.

The British model spoke of her unique bond with the late fashion icon, describing the first time they met as a match made in heaven and filled with kindness.

“Karl really taught me the importance of embracing your weirdness. He was uniquely himself and didn’t care what anyone else thought. I try to live with that attitude every day,” the model recalled.

Weeks before her appearance at Paris Fashion Week, the actress made a massive comeback after losing her Los Angeles home to a fire. The Blast reported that the actress purchased the property in Beverly Hills for $11 million, which previously belonged to Jennifer Lawrence.

Delevingne’s new location aligns with her celebrity lifestyle, as she now finds herself surrounded by Hollywood’s famous faces, including Adele, Nicole Kidman, and Cameron Diaz. The home has its own interesting history of owners, as Lawrence also got in 2014 after Jessica Simpson moved out.

The new property features five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, a walk-in closet, and a private balcony with breathtaking views of the landscaped grounds. Delevingne reportedly sold her gutted LA home, which was destroyed by fire in 2024, for $2.4 million.

The actress was not at home during the time of the incident, as she was away in London for the production of “Cabaret;” however, her pets were reported to be safe.
