Chariah Gordon Dishes On Kansas City Chiefs WAGs Group Chat

Chariah Gordon, a prominent member of the Kansas City Chiefs’ WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends) community, offered a rare glimpse into the lively group chat shared by the women who support the team both on and off the field.

Known for her meticulously styled, fashion-forward game-day looks, which she curates herself, Gordon revealed that outfits often dominate the conversation among the group.

Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., frequently turns to Instagram to share glimpses of the suite experience with fans, including her time hanging out with Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Chariah Gordon offered PEOPLE Magazine a glimpse into the group chat she shares with the Kansas City Chiefs’ WAGs.

“We do have a group chat,”she revealed. “It has a little bit of everything in this group chat.”

While the group includes the players’ partners, Gordon clarified that the WAGs chat “is not subjected to football.” She explained, “It got debates, it got outfits… it got, ‘Do we want to go to the gym? Do you guys want to go to the Bible study?’ It has, ‘Hey, who wants to go eat today?’”

“I would pick my own outfits and send it in a group chat like, ‘Hey, do y’all like this? Do you like that?'” she said. “Everybody just gives their opinion on what to switch out or what to put in.”

Football is discussed a “little bit,” especially “when somebody’s guy does good or gets hurt or anything.”

“We’re checking on each other,” Gordon said. “We’re saying things like, ‘Oh, your man just made a touchdown. Yay!’ We just in there supporting each other all the way around.”

Above all, Gordon emphasizes that creating “a comfortable” and “safe space for the ladies” is the group chat’s top priority. It’s a place where they can “be themselves, get to know each other, vent, let it out.” She assures, “Whatever you need to do in that group chat is safe.”

Gordon, known for using her Instagram to offer fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the suite experience, shared several fun moments on her Stories during the eventful night. One standout post featured a photo of Taylor Swift cozying up with Ciara for a heartwarming snapshot.

The photo, captioned “Auntie Tay & Baby Ci” with heart-eye emojis, captured the pop superstar holding Ci, who wore an adorable bow, in her arms. Taylor Swift looked stunning in a red-and-black tweed Versace windowpane blazer, adding a fashionable touch to the sweet moment.

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have formed a close friendship, often seen supporting their partners—Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes—at Kansas City Chiefs games. Their connection became especially noticeable with their viral secret handshake, which debuted on October 22, 2023.

Outside of the stadium, the two have been spotted together at events like the U.S. Open and have shared dinners with mutual friends. Their friendship is also evident on social media, where they share coordinated outfits and highlight fun moments.

Bravo is currently working on a reality show focused on the lives of the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of Kansas City Chiefs players, showcasing their experiences as they support their Super Bowl-winning partners.

While the series is still in development and the final cast has yet to be confirmed, an exclusive source revealed to PEOPLE Magazine that Sheawna Weathersby, partner of defensive tackle Chris Jones, and Chariah Gordon, fiancée of wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., are among those being considered for the show.

According to another source who spoke to PEOPLE, Taylor Swift, and Brittany Mahomes will not be participating in the show if it moves forward.

“Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all and will not even be filmed,” they said. “Taylor especially is very protective of what little private life she has left. She enjoys all the ladies she’s met, but she will not be a part of Bravo’s storyline.”
