Chrissy Teigen sparked backlash after revealing that she wakes at 1 a.m. nightly to order food or tell her husband, John Legend, to make her a sandwich.

Her comments drew criticism, with fans calling her “insufferable.” This comes after she said on Meghan Markle‘s Netflix show that she forgets her children’s birthdays, relying on a tattoo for reminders.

Despite the drama, Chrissy Teigen shared back-to-school photos of her kids, Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren, playfully celebrating the milestone.

Chrissy Teigen has stirred up a wave of reactions online after confessing to a quirky late-night eating habit.

During her recent appearance on “Dinner Time Live,” the 39-year-old model revealed that she wakes up hungry at around 1 a.m. every single night. Sometimes she orders food for delivery, while other times she enlists her husband, John Legend, to whip something up.

“I take my nighttime medications at 10 p.m., and then I wake up again at 1 a.m., I place my order, it gets to me by 2, I eat it by 2:15, and then I go back to bed,” she explained. “[This happens] every night without fail. I’m not kidding.”

Teigen also admitted that she occasionally nudges her 46-year-old husband to make her a quick ham and cheese sandwich. “He’ll fully go downstairs at the time. He doesn’t care. I can nudge him and be like, ‘Babe, I want a sandwich,’ and he’ll be like, ‘OK.'”

She added, “He’s so robotic, you know, John. He’s like, ‘Alright, sandwich time,’ then he comes back and [goes immediately back to bed].”

Chrissy Teigen Slammed Over Her 1 A.M. Eating Habit, As Fans Brand Her ‘Awful’

A TikTok clip from the food show quickly went viral, but the comments section filled up with criticism rather than laughs.

Many viewers slammed Teigen for boasting about waking Legend in the middle of the night to make her food.

“She is awful,” one person fumed, while another simply labeled her “insufferable.”

“Why did she tell this story with pride?” a third individual wondered.

“I can’t with her,” another user wrote. “How mean to wake your husband up just to get you food. I would have to really, really need something to wake my husband up.”

One particularly annoyed commenter added: “That’s rude. She woke him up every night for a sandwich and yet called him a robot! That’s not nice.”

This comes after Teigen admitted she often forgets her own children’s birthdays. The 39-year-old model shared the confession while appearing on Meghan Markle’s Netflix series “With Love, Meghan.”

Sitting with the Duchess of Sussex, Teigen rolled up her sleeve to show off a tattoo of her four kids’ birth dates, explaining it’s the only way she can keep track of them.

“Look, I had to get a tattoo of their birthdays, ’cause I don’t remember,” she told Meghan, who responded with a cheerful, “Sweet!”

But the moment quickly turned awkward when Teigen squinted at the tattoo and couldn’t figure out if one of the numbers read 16 or 18. She eventually called her husband, Legend, into the room for backup.

“Who is this? Myles is…” she said, trailing off before John stepped in to confirm that their son was born on May 16, 2018, per the Daily Mail.

Teigen and Legend share four children together: Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren.

Teigen also celebrated back-to-school season in style, sharing a series of sweet family snaps on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

The proud mom posted pictures of her four children, all dressed for the big day. Her oldest, Luna Simone, 9, stood proudly between younger siblings Esti Maxine, 2, and Wren Alexander, 2, while big brother Miles, 7, playfully stretched out on the ground in front of them.

A cluster of festive school-themed balloons completed the setup.

In another shot, Miles struck a dramatic pose on his knees with his arms spread wide, clearly embracing the moment. Teigen captioned the post with her trademark humor: “First day of school YESSSSSS bless you, teachers, bless you all.”

The cookbook author also gave followers a behind-the-scenes peek on Instagram Stories.

In the clip, she asked little Esti, wearing a pink backpack, if she deserved a special snack after her very short school day.

“A cinnamon roll cupcake?” Teigen suggested. “Yeah,” Esti replied, grinning.

“For surviving one hour of school?” her mom teased. “Yeah,” Esti repeated, earning Teigen’s approving, “Okay.”
