Comedian Whitney Cummings delivered a blistering critique of Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party, and CNN during a New Year’s Eve segment that was as jaw-dropping as it was hilarious.
What makes it even more remarkable? She did it all on CNN’s own airwaves.
The live broadcast, which featured hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen indulging in tequila shots, became a spectacle not just of booze-soaked antics but also unexpected truth bombs from the bold comedian.
Cummings wasted no time diving into the chaos of the 2024 election season, skewering the Democratic Party for its apparent lack of voter choice.
“The 2024 election fried our brains. The Democrats couldn’t hold a primary because they were too busy holding a body upright,” Cummings quipped, alluding to concerns about President Joe Biden’s age and health.
“Are we still rolling? Am I off?… It’s amazing that the pro-choice party didn’t give their voters one when it came to the presidential candidate,” she added.
She then turned her attention to Kamala Harris.
“Kamala was forced on us so hard, you’d think she was patented by Pfizer or Moderna—whichever one’s… Oh, God. Andy just gave me a very scary look.” Cummings said.
But Cummings wasn’t done. She turned her sights on CNN itself.
“I love going around the country because you see that Americans really are more reasonable than they would be portrayed. They’re pretty great. I’m playing bigger and bigger venues now.”
“I thought being a mom would mean that fewer people would want to come see me. I’m now playing 3,000-seat theaters, which is about the viewership of CNN these days. Not this show, though,” she said.
