Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has had many memorable moments with young fans throughout his 17-year career, but he may have provided one of his most touching on Wednesday night.
Before a road game against the San Antonio Spurs, Curry met with a young fan with a prosthetic leg. The fan told the guard he was his “favorite player” and asked for a picture of Curry. Of course, Curry obliged, and he also signed his leg. The four-time champion then made his night even more special.
Stephen Curry torched the Spurs
Heading into Wednesday’s game, Curry was coming off one of his worst games this season. In a 126-102 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, he scored a season-low 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting from the field. But he rediscovered his shooting stroke against the Spurs.
Curry scored a season-high 46 points on 13-of-25 shooting from the field, leading the Warriors to a 125-120 win. He also had five rebounds and five assists.
