“There was so much attention to detail on the reception dress beading,” Demi said. “The pearl detail and draping is such a special element, and each strand was draped and attached by hand, one by one. It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special.”

After years of ups and downs, the two rekindled their friendship in 2020 and shared a candid heart-to-heart during a joint livestream that year.

“We can not talk forever, and then some bulls will go down. I’ll just know you’re the person I want to reach out to,” Cyrus admitted. “In dark times, it’s really important to reach towards those who are illuminated. I just think that you’re such a light.”

Lovato added, “Maybe we connected because of spirituality, or maybe it was just our hearts.”

To which Cyrus cheekily replied, “Or maybe we were just gay as f-ck,” sending Lovato into a fit of laughter.
