Elon Musk Says DOGE Will Cut Off NGO Funding Used to Facilitate Mass Immigration: ‘DOGE Will Stop It’

Elon Musk vowed to reverse the Biden administration’s practice of utilizing NGOs (Non-governmental Organizations) to facilitate mass immigration, saying that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is prepared to end the practice.

Musk was responding to an X post over the weekend by entrepreneur Mario Nawfal, which claimed the practice under Biden made NGOs the “middlemen” of illegal immigration, often without adequate oversight.

“Turns out nonprofits weren’t just helping migrants—they were funding the crisis!” he wrote, later adding, “Sanctuary cities were hit hardest, with taxpayers footing the bill.”

Musk Vows DOGE Will Stop NGOs From Funding Illegal Immigration

Nawfal explained to his followers that the new administration was poised to put a stop to the practice of NGOs being used to fund illegal immigration.

“Under Biden, NGOs became the middlemen of illegal immigration,” he wrote. “Trump’s ICE is now digging into the mess he left behind.”

It would seem like a common sense way to slow down the invasion at the southern and northern borders. Not to mention, it is a blatant mismanagement and misuse of funds by these organizations. Those two issues crossing each other means DOGE is poised to step in and make a difference.

Musk chimed in to confirm that the Biden administration had abused the practice, which, in turn, was meant to help Democrats hold onto power.

“They sure did and still are,” said Musk. “DOGE will stop it.”

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) aims to streamline government operations, reduce waste, and enhance the effectiveness of public services by promoting audits, implementing technology, and adopting private sector efficiencies.

Musk’s role is to lead this initiative, focusing on implementing a “revolution” in government efficiency by leveraging his experience in cutting costs and reducing workforce. We’ve seen him do this at X to great effect, along with his other companies.

Cutting this practice of using NGOs to help facilitate immigration will help kill two birds with one stone.

President Trump recently empowered DHS to expel migrants who were admitted under Biden’s programs, reversing policies that allowed for these entries. This includes shutting down systems like the CBP One app used for scheduling asylum appointments.

The American people voted for significant reforms when it comes to immigration and government waste. DOGE, with Musk’s guidance, is poised to deliver on both in this case.
