Kate Gosselin‘s former nanny, Ashley H., is breaking her silence on the alleged abuse she witnessed while working for the reality star.

In a new interview, Ashley, who asked to keep her last name private, said she “110 percent” saw Kate abuse her son, Collin Gosselin.

Ashley’s comments come days after Collin Gosselin released his memoir, “In the Shadow of Eight,” and accused his mother of mistreating him.

Kate Gosselin’s Former Nanny Says She Treated Collin With A ‘Specific Hate’

Speaking to PEOPLE, Ashley said she first met Kate and her family over a decade ago when she was in school, and the TLC star was looking for a nanny. At first, everything seemed lovely; however, Ashley said things took a turn.

“She very much outwardly treated Collin different,” Ashley said about Kate, adding that she “110 percent abused Colin.” And that’s not all she had to say. Ashley added that it’s challenging to describe the “specific hate” Kate had toward her son. “You could just feel it,” she said. “I saw her grab Collin many, many times.”

The Former Nanny Says The Gosselin Kids Had To Follow A ‘House Manual’

As the conversation continued, Ashley spilled even more behind-the-scenes tea about her time with the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” crew, specifically the “house manual” everyone had to follow.

According to Ashley, Kate’s sprawling Wernersville, PA., home was hectic, and the eight children were expected to follow many rules.

“The house was to look unlived-in at all times,” Ashley claimed. “There were never toys out. There was never things out. They couldn’t live.”

As the former nanny and housekeeper, Ashley said the rules also extended to their extracurriculars.

For example, the children were allegedly only allowed “one or two school outfits per week because it would cause too much laundry,” she said before calling the kids’ interactions with Kate “robotic.”

“It was not loving,” said Ashley. “She very much made it known who was a favorite, who wasn’t, who’s annoying. Someone would come and pick the dog up for grooming, but she treated her kids basically worse than animals.”

Fans Call For A ‘Criminal Investigation’ After Former Nanny Breaks Her Silence

Former “Jon & Kate Plus 8” watchers were moved by the former nanny’s recent revelations, prompting many to comment on different social media forums.

One Reddit user said the nanny’s claims about Kate call for a “full criminal investigation,” while another said they hoped the reality star was suffering amid recent backlash. “Kate deserves every second of what she’s going through. What comes around goes around.”

And that’s not all the fans had to say. A third user said the nanny’s willingness to speak inspired them and hoped it encouraged others to share their story. “You know this isn’t the first or only employee who witnessed terrible things. Hell, we the VIEWERS witnessed terrible things,” they added.

Collin Wrote About His Mother’s Alleged Abuse In His Memoir

Ashley’s claims come days after Collin’s memoir, “In the Shadow of Eight,” hit shelves worldwide. According to a previous report from The Blast, Collin wrote the book to help heal himself and shed light on what life can be like for children growing up in front of the camera.

“For a long time, I wasn’t sure I’d ever tell this story,” he said about the book. “Growing up, millions of people watched my life on television. People felt like they knew me. They knew my family. They watched me grow up. But there was so much they never saw. For years, I kept those experiences to myself. Some because I was afraid. Some because I didn’t think anyone would believe me. And some because I just wasn’t ready.”

After a while, though, Collin said writing the book was one of the best things he’d ever done. “I was scared to do so, and very nervous because you’re always nervous,” he said, then described the whole process as “liberating and freeing.”

Collin Is Estranged From His Siblings

Collin is still estranged from his siblings, and the one sibling he was speaking to, Hannah, recently said she’s taken a step back from their relationship.

“I’ve decided to take a step back from the situation going on, considering I haven’t lived with my dad in over a year and haven’t spoken to Collin in close to a year,” she wrote online, according to The Blast. “Having said that, I have had a relationship with my mom and other siblings for quite a few years now.”

Hannah’s comment made headlines because it came hours after Netflix announced an upcoming documentary about Collin, Hannah, and their father, Jon Gosselin.
