Fans Support Angela White After Derrick Milano Split

White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, and Milano announced their split via posts on their Instagram Stories.

The couple’s decision to go their separate ways comes less than a year after they got engaged in October 2024.

White and Milano’s plans to walk down the aisle together in future came to an end after they decided to call off their engagement.

They wrote, “After much prayer and reflection, Derrick [Angela] and I have decided to call off the engagement.”

Despite their relationship coming to an end, they emphasized that they remained “good friends.” They wrote, “We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys.”

The pair concluded, “May we find peace and fulfillment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.”

The Shade Room reposted White’s announcement on Instagram and several fans took turns sharing their thoughts about her and Milano’s split, with most noting that they expected it to happen.

One person wrote, “I’m not surprised. She is on her journey of faith and he wanted to be in the club drinking, partying, promoting and producing music that doesn’t align with her purpose. I am happy for her.”

Another fan shared, “Her new path wasn’t aligning with his present lifestyle.”

A third fan added, “They’re at two different places spiritually. You can tell on the show. He was still drinking and partying and she was trying to get right with God. She was going to church and bible study while he was partying.”

Another person with similar sentiments wrote, “I’m happy for her. He was a test and she passed by getting rid of him and sticking to her new journey.”

White and Milano got engaged during Howard University’s Homecoming celebration on October 18, 2024.

It marked the third time White had gotten engaged, after previously saying yes to rapper Tyga, with whom she shares a son, King Cairo Stevenson, 12, and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alum Rob Kardashian, with whom she shares a daughter, Dream, 8.

Milano proposed to White in front of thousands of cheering spectators. A viral video captured White, dazzling in an all-black outfit with a vibrant blue wig and knee-high boots, embracing Milano, who kept it casual in denim and a T-shirt.

The heartfelt moment sparked screams from the crowd as Chyna nodded affirmatively.

White and Milano’s engagement came a year and a month after they confirmed their relationship in September 2023. After one year together, White took to her Instagram page to celebrate their first anniversary as a couple.

She shared a video montage showing some of their beautiful moments together alongside a caption that read, “Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano.”

The reality TV star continued, “Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick. Your love, support, and friendship have filled my life with light and warmth.”

She concluded, “Thank you for showing me the true meaning of love. Here’s to countless more years of love and togetherness. I cherish you always.”
