Production on Season 15 of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” or “RHONJ” is currently underway, and according to Gia Giudice, it’s like a “breath of fresh air.” In a new interview, the “Next Gen NYC” star opened up about the new group, its dynamics, and how it differs from past seasons.

Speaking with Us Weekly, Gia, 25, said working with the Garden State ladies has “been so fun.”

According to the Bravo personality, she’s actually filmed quite a bit for the new season, calling it “great” before speaking about how the new group of women differs from past years.

“I mean, just the energy in the room, and just the feeling of everything is so different, especially now that everyone is good, and we’re not fighting anymore,” she said. “It’s just such a different energy and vibe going into it, which I think is making it a lot more fun. It’s honestly beautiful to see. … It’s like a breath of fresh air.”

Who Is Part Of The Upcoming Season Of ‘RHONJ’?

Bravo confirmed earlier this year that Gia’s mom, Teresa Giudice, will be part of the upcoming season. Joining her is her lifelong bestie, Dolores Catania, and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.

Before cameras went back up, “RHONJ” had been on hiatus while the network decided how to move forward with the group, as Teresa and Gorga had been estranged.

The pair reconciled, though, just before BravoCon 2025, sending shockwaves through the entire Bravoverse.

“They actually have [reconciled], and I do believe it,” Andy Cohen said about their relationship, per The Blast. “You know, this happened months ago, and we decided not to film anything because, frankly, we’ve seen Melissa — and we’ve seen Joe and Teresa — make up before. We were like, ‘Great, if you’re going to do this, go do it!’ And they lived in it for many months.”

Of course, Teresa and Gorga have feuded on “RHONJ” since 2011. Over the years, the pair argued over marital rumors and family dynamics. Things appeared to have reached a boiling point in 2024, when Teresa vowed never to speak with them again.

Cohen, however, spoke with Gia about her family during Bravo’s massive fan convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, and recalled how happy the young adult was that everything had returned to normal.

“I remember talking to Gia at BravoCon [2025], and she looked in my eye, and she was telling me things that they had been doing as a family, and she was emotional about having her uncle back and her cousins back. And I was like, ‘OK, good. This is real,’” Cohen added.

Major Changes Are Coming To ‘RHONJ’ As Season 15 Continues To Film

According to a previous report from The Blast, major changes are coming to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” when it returns for its landmark 15th season in 2027.

The first change is that Margaret Josephs is no longer part of the group after seven years. She announced her departure in a social media video, saying she’s been thinking about the decision for years.

“I think the timing is right. A lot of things have changed in my life. I’ve been blessed to work on a different project. I’m on the set right now,” she said. “I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break and move on.”

Additionally, Jackie Goldschneider, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, and Jennifer Fessler also exited the series.

While Josephs was one of the show’s marquee players, she assured her fans that she wasn’t leaving the world of unscripted television.

“This will not be the last you guys see of me on television. That’s not a threat, it’s a promise, and I’m excited for all the new opportunities, and I’m grateful for all of you for supporting me for all these years,” she said.

In fact, Josephs will return to television sooner than fans might’ve thought. In May 2026, Amazon Prime Video announced that Josephs, along with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore, would take part in a new series, “Reality Retreat.”

The series will bring together a group of prominent reality TV stars for a “high-stakes wellness retreat designed to challenge their identities, relationships, and personal growth.”

Jenn Levy, Head of Nonfiction Series at Amazon, opened up about her excitement for the series, saying must-see unscripted TV starts with “bold, authentic personalities.”

“By placing them in an environment that strips away expectation and forces real introspection, we’re creating a series that is as emotionally raw as it is entertaining. It’s a wild, honest and oftentimes hilarious ride about identity, reinvention, and what happens when larger-than-life stars are forced to confront themselves…and each other,” she said.
