Gisele Bündchen Seen In Costa Rica With Baby Bump

Gisele Bündchen was seen on the beaches of Costa Rica over the holidays, and the pregnant model showed off her baby bump while rocking a bikini in the process.

Bündchen is expecting a child with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente. The 44-year-old Brazilian model also has two children with her ex-husband, former Greenbay Packer, Tom Brady.

News that Bündchen and her boyfriend, Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, were having a baby broke back in October.

The Blast previously reported that the couple was expecting a child together and was able to keep the news private before confirming the news on Oct. 28. The duo released a statement to PEOPLE confirming the pregnancy.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life,” said the statement. “And they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

The model plans to have a home birth with her third child.

Page Six shared pictures of the pregnant model as she vacationed in Costa Rica on Christmas Eve.

Bündchen was rocking a two-piece, dark-colored bikini as she walked on a sandy beach. The supermodel was also photographed standing in the shallow water as she talked with Valente and some friends.

The duo also had a dog with them on the beach as they took in the sunshine.

Büdchen is divorced from former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

The Victoria’s Secret model and 47-year-old Brady finalized their divorce in 2022 after 13 years of marriage. The couple share two children — 15-year-old Benjamin and 12-year-old Vivian. The former model also co-parented Brady’s 17-year-old son with “Blue Bloods” actress Bridgette Moynahan, Jack.

Valente, 35, was the model’s Jiu-Jitsu instructor prior to her divorce, and rumors spread that Büdchen and Valente were having an affair after they were seen vacationing together in Costa Rica two weeks following the breakup with Brady.

“That’s a lie,” said Büdchen. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful.”

Valente owns a martial arts school in Miami.

Brady was reportedly “stung” by his ex-wife’s pregnancy at the age of 44.

As previously reported by The Blast, Brady was upset to learn about the pregnancy.

“Finding out Gisele was pregnant stung,” noted one source. “Tom had to get out his feelings about it, and he did it in his own time.”

The former quarterback allegedly also said he was “upset” but wasn’t “letting it get to him.”

“It was a hard pill to swallow,” they continued. “It was never something he ever thought was going to happen.”

Even though Brady was shocked to learn about his ex-wife’s pregnancy initially, he is reportedly happy for her now.

Brady knew the relationship between Büdchen and Valente was serious, but the couple having a baby left him “stunned” at first.

“Tom knew that things were serious between Gisele and Joaquim but he never imagined they would be having a child together,” a source told Page Six. “It just wasn’t something that was on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him, he was stunned, to say the least.”

“After the initial shock wore off,” they added, Brady became “used to the idea and he’s happy for Gisele.”

“At the end of the day, Tom’s sole focus is on his children and his career. What Gisele decides to do with her own life is really none of his business.”

Brady reportedly learned of the pregnancy a few days before it was announced publically. The children were also notified before the news went public. Büdchen and Valente began dating in June of 2023 and were reportedly only friends before they began having a romantic relationship.

The model shared some advice with her fans on Instagram last month about living a healthy lifestyle.

“There’s no guide to life, no perfect roadmap to follow,” she wrote. “But remember everything you are, is a choice! To feel good, to be healthy, and to cultivate a positive mindset are daily choices that only you can commit to. Each day presents the opportunity to choose habits that nourish your body, uplift your spirit, and guide you toward the life you truly want to live.”
